The Bontempelli Draft Story | Mini Documentary
Marcus Bontempelli is one of the most decorated players in modern football, however, he was originally labelled as, 'a project player' throughout his U18 season. It has since become the best decision the Western Bulldogs could have made, selecting Bontempelli with Pick 4 at the 2013 AFL National Draft.

Great documentary. Told the story in a very captivating way. Of course it helps that Mark's story is so wonderful and shows a great young man doing everything possible to constantly improve and to be his best.

Awesome work! Thank you i heard Scotty say recently that Mark as a young player wouldn't stop asking questions of everyone. He was desperate to learn and be his best an absolute credit to himself.
Thanks so much! Yes, this, his leadership and ability to build genuine relationships with players, coaches and staff alike were key areas I noticed throughout my research. I was keen to incorporate these topics into the documentary, however, I struggled to find the right clips/soundbites to make it work seamlessly. Such an amazing player and person. If you haven't already, I recommend watching his interview with Meg McDonald, recorded in the celebration to his 250th. You can find it on Geelong's TH-cam channel.
