My Basic Photo Editing with LR 5

A few people have asked me how I edit my photos. Instead of typing out something long, figured this would be best. This is a fast quick run down. I can do more in depth videos if requested later. Im no professional, this is just what i tend to do on most photos. Not sure if its the "right way" to do it. But then again, don't really care if it is. Been working great so far! Enjoy!

      Can you still drive up to 80 mph in the freeway? A friend of mine change the gears on his Tacoma, and he only hits like 65mph

    • @jakboling
      @jakboling 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JuanPerez-sy1jg you can but you'll be at like 3700-3800rpm. I find 70mph to be best at 3200rpm or so to maintain some kind of decent mpg. 80 is do able and it's happy to sit at 3700 but you'll guzzle the gas. Ultimately for me totally worth it. I built to for off-road. It's amazing in the dirt.

    • @jakboling

      I was never really ever able to do that super successfully. However, I had a friend that was able to do that. I think the difference is you either leave your bedding inside, or the annex on. That said, if you get a newer Summit series I doubt you can since the cloth is so much thicker.

    No way it's more than 340hp not worth the 6k investment. At that point might as well put 10k into it and slap a stock LS motor in there and be happier and more reliable.

      1859ddd if that were true there would be a lot of LS tacomas put there and not a lot of supercharged ones. This video is pretty old. Pulls way harder after a regear. Is lots of fun and been reliable. No regrets.

      right on, I see you around on TW. Im trying to figure a way to do LT with Manual hubs, and ive been researching the MCM kit.

    • @jakboling
      @jakboling 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can't do it with manual hubs without custom CV axles. You have to use a tundra shaft and inner joint and a manual hub tacoma outer joint. Which will be weaker then a tundra outer as well. A company used to make a conversion kit but i don't think they are around anymore.

    • @justinbrunner7127
      @justinbrunner7127 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      correct. ORS used to do it, and they are in fact around again.... there are people who did manual hubs on tundras.... so if it will hold the weight, and power of the 4.7 im relatively confident that itll hold up to the 3.4 and lighter weight tacoma.... i havent ever broken a cv here in the AZ rocks.... and if i have too ill go back to ADD.... but i like the manual hubs. even the tundras that are long travel are just a longer intermediate shaft with the stock outers and they hold up..... have you had a problem with broken cvs when you were able to maintain and inspect them?

    I am designing a similar set up before I ran across this but don't know how I would get it back down unless I had a couple friends to help. If I was camping solo it would be a challenge. Any recommendations?

    • @jakboling
      @jakboling 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why wouldn't you be able to get it down? If you buy the right struts, you won't have any issues. i bough 80lb ones i believe. 50 would have been perfect though. I just stand on the handles and it goes right down no problem. I would use round tubing though not square. it'll make things work much smoother. I plan on doing a v2.0 with round tubing and having the lift pistons inside the tubing.

    • @davidmalmberg580
      @davidmalmberg580 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was just thinking that if all 4 corners are extended then you would need at least another person on the other two corners to push down at the same time. I can see pushing it down alone if just two corners are extended. Sounds like it's not too bad though. I started brainstorming after I saw a locals trailer (BoxRocket) who had a very similar frame on a trailer that held his rtt. He mentioned it was difficult to compress alone but I think he had 100lb struts. I'm on TW frequently and wondering if the 2.0 version is going to be on your new dbl cab Tacoma build or Frankenstein? Thanks for the tips. Hopefully you include that in your build so I can see how it worked out. Thanks again for the reply.

    • @jakboling
      @jakboling 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh I see..yea I stand on my support bar by the cab to get it down. If you had all 4 go up at once, would be hard to get it to lower right for sure. But again. If you got lower pressure shocks that don't fully support it so you have to push it up or help it up. It could work well. V2.0 will be on Frankenstein not igor. Don't worry. Be in the build thread as always!

    • @davidmalmberg580
      @davidmalmberg580 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that makes sense. I will definitely consider a lighter weight strut and lock in the height with a pin or something. Looking forward to it thanks. I'm UtahTacoma02 on TW fwiw. Thanks for the video. I have the standard (not extended) annex and it does not have zippers to attach. How would you recommend installing the standard annex? We tried for a few hours this weekend and were unsuccessful at getting the edge fed through all the extrusion channels.

    • @jakboling
      @jakboling 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bob Preis I have never setup a smaller one. I am willing to bet you just slide it into the channels of aluminum if there is no zipper. or you need to put the zipper part in.

    • @BobPreis
      @BobPreis 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Monte Nickles I called CVT about it. They recommended prying open the extrusion channels a little to make sliding the smaller annex easier. They also recommended a silicone lubricant and using a hammer to smash the first inch of plastic tubing that slides into the channel. Smashing the tubing helps feed it into the channel to get it started. I'll give it another shot this weekend but a zipper sure would be easier!!

    this is awesome, can you lock it aswell to keep your gear safe underneath?

    • @jakboling
      @jakboling 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +adidassc12 Thanks! I didn't make it lockable in that way. But would be very easy to implement with padlocks.

      Sort of I guess it would be easy to make it lockable. I don't have it locked myself as Im not that worried about that happening where I live. But could!

      What made you choose the LT kit over the SAS swap?

    • @jakboling
      @jakboling 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      For what I do it fits my style better. More go fast stuff the crawl. But we will see. If stuff just breaks all the time I'll 3link the front. For now though this setup has been working awesome.
