Hi Ian, for your vac brushes, what types do you use. I struggle to get ones with bristles that last any length of time, and are universal enough to fit festool or Bosch’s shop vacs.

One question:I am about to do a Cigar Humidor with interior made ot spanish cedar , Would the hinges you have used work? I was just wondering due to the need to keep a close fit as possible to maintain the right humidity. Any suggestion is more than welcome. Maurizio

What if one want's to stain the bookmatched veneer afterwards ?. You cannot add polyurethane prior joining the veneers. Great video btw.

Im so glad to learn your technique to make the edge. For years I used a shooting board, but this way using the two boards is much easier!

Ian thankyou for sharing such a detailed workflow. There is a huge amount to take out of this and perhaps the more skilled I become the more I look to such learning to reduce unhappy outcomes.

Chataboyance (is that the term?) is different veneer grain direction. How to match that while also book match? I guess this is where the art comes into the science - especially with larger veneer layouts.

Where do you buy your large (A3 ?) sheets of abrasive that you use when flattening the edges of both veneers?

Quick easy access to many projects with woodglut plans.

Woodglut instructions is nice for that.

Woodglut comes with very useful plans with all the details you need.

I "invented" the glue-groove independently myself out of need. I shared the tip in a FB group and someone pointed me to you. Great work and great videos!
