i looove it! getting a sewing machine for christmas hehe
That's awesome! Happy sewing! 🥳
I see no difference
This tutorial was FANTASTIC!! Thank you!😊
You're welcome, I'm so glad it was helpful!
You're good 😮😳
Thank you!
It's not an exact replica but some compliments I have are: -It looks great still and unique -It's better than anything I could make
No cause the second reason is so true
I loved it! I would like to sew my own clothes, I think it's chic
Sewing your own clothes is so chic
you're right, that WAS easier than I thought 👏
It’s so simple but those little details really count!
I call it the crafters curse 😂🎉 glad it turned out wonderful!
Thank you!
The equivalent to chefs throwing stuff on the floor for the dog, knowing fully well they don't have one
Haha why is this so funny to me 😂
A white apron would give a cute Alice in Wonderland look! It's lovely ❤️
That’s a great idea! Thank you 🙏🏽
Hi, I didn’t expect this video to get so many views! I appreciate all your comments but I actually did not want to copy the original dress exactly which is why I made it shorter and less fitted at the waist. Also the audio is just a trend, I don’t think my dress is stupid; I absolutely love how it came out!! Now that we’ve been introduced, I hope you’ll come hangout with me on my channel where I share tips and tricks from 15 years of sewing experience, fashion design school, and working in the industry!
Iron the pleat in before you pin and it will be even cleaner Great job regardless though!! ❤ 10,000 hours of practise = expert
Thank you! Ironing the pleats in was tricky because they are so close together in this case but that’s certainly a good tip for when pleats are further apart! I guess I could have done that one at a time but actually the pintucks came out fine through pinning them all at once. Not sure if I have the 10,000 hours of practice but with 15 years of experience, I hope I’m pretty close!
but you DID make it!!
I did, didn’t I 😏
Love it so cute ty😊
❤❤❤❤
Love ❤
❤️❤️❤️
Super cute idea!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Love the idea. Great job doing it . ❤️🙏❤️
Thank you! 🙏🏽
LOL the sample picture with the "baby" at the end 🤣 as always, such a creative idea and well executed!
Haha I loved the pics too! Really brings the whole idea to life
make it a little longer it might help
The dress is super cuuutee🥺🥺🥺🥺
Thank you!!
That’s really cute
Well, you made it, Not stupid, just in a different quality, it's a matter of training and experience. This includes making mistakes to learn, pro tip, don't use that many pins, and you can iron the folds before too, thou isn't necessary if you hold the garment the right way. Mark more and another pro tip, if the garment is too thin and "wonky", you can iron on the inside fleece line before sewing anything, there are different thicknesses you can get and it makes the garment more harder, so are folds easier to make, thicker ones are also good to use if you want to make sturdy collars and cuffs that are holding their shape hard. If you want to use the fleece line, make sure that you really just iron it on where you need it. f. e. The top part, to keep the bottom light and flowy.
Thanks for your comment! I have been sewing for 15+ years and have a degree in Fashion Design, the audio I used is a trend. I use a lot of pins because I find that enjoyable. If you watch the longform video, I did additionally mark a lot too. I didn't use fleece lined fabric for this project but I appreciate your tips.
😍👏🏻
Its soo cute omg!! :)
that wedding dress is amazing, I'm so impressed
Thank you! You’re too kind ❤️
it looks great, I would just add like a black belt
That’s amazing 😮
Add a belt where it transitions and it'll be even prettier then original!! ( also maybe make it longer)
If you try again, try making it in 2 pieces, and sew them together with an invisible stitch. It looks like there’s a faint seem between the ribbed part, and the bottom anyway.
The hubby wants a button down shirt with those kind of pintucks, but I'm scared of them.
They’re not too difficult, it just takes time to sew them all, I believe in you! I have lots of videos featuring pintucks on my channel if you need some help getting started!
But it looks beautiful!
It turned out great, just remember that those models are really skinny and tall so the outcome is different on different body style
Pretty ❤
beautiful!!!!
Nice sharing! Learn more about it
Thank you for watching!
omg the last one 🤣
I was watching this thinking "what's wrong with these? these are fi-" then saw the last one 😆
Lol I still have a lot to learn 🙈
better than I could do though! I love the channel!
Great job on all three!
Thank you!
😂 same! The hard plight of every crafter 😂
This was so helpful! Thank you!
I’m so glad you found it helpful!
Recently I have become soo picky with clothing quality. I'm just so sick of my clothes practically disintegrating in the wash 😒
I feel you! It’s led me to buying mostly secondhand just because I’m thinking someone else has washed this before and it’s still in good condition
Yes! Alteration videos would be great to see
Thanks for letting me know!
I say that all the time and … never make anything 😢😂
Looks aight to me ❤
Very cutesy very demure 😂✨💅
Put a band acrossed the inside of the right under the bust, if it pulls in and you gather in a little around the waist, it’ll look great.
Me every time my mom wants to buy something expensive lol 😂
It actually turned out great!! But I would recommend making it a little more fitted for it to look more alike
Thank you! I wasn't trying to copy the original exactly so the looser fit is intentional but I understand that's not everyone's cup of tea.
