This update is literally just an experiment we all failed. They give us no new content or maps for a entire year, and then drop a 15$ skins only pass to see if we bite. And shocker.... YOU and EVERYONE else (including me) caved and bought the pass. All of us in this comment section proved to valve we will continue to finically support them with only skins, They can work on no content and just throw in community made skins and we still pay.

Not even a community map rotation, what a kick in the teeth. Italy being added to comp is the only thing you could MAYBE consider content, which I don't count since they literally said this was planned for launch. I doubt this was motivated exclusively by money, but MY GOD it is not a good look.. charging the same price as an full-fledged operation, can't buy/sell/trade anything from the pass for like a week, you have to PAY to remove keychains... so fucking tone deaf this game is in an unbelievable state 1 year from release

I agree with everything you said here. When I first saw the update I was excited, until I realized they only added cosmetics. I wish they would have added at least train or cache along with the update. Just adding skins for 15.99 feels like such a cash grab. No actually new real content is disappointing.

I have 5 friends who got blue gem Deagles last night and 1 who got a FN purple gem. I think the blue gem is not going to be as rare as everyone thinks. This is just a straight up cash grab. This is a trap. So many people farming multiple accounts are going to saturate the market like crazy.

People are all over the subreddit and comments sections of creators hating on this update's clear cashgrab without a single new map or even having missions (Italy being added to comp does not count LOL). Armory pass costs more than operation passes did in the past and gives you less. New cosmetic skins barely qualify as "content". What a joke
