Can my Honda CRV pull a pressure washing trailer?
This was my first tow with 35 gallons of chemical and over 1,000 pounds of other pressure washing equipment. Lucky for me my roof wash job was only 2 miles away.

GoPro 12 loses, approximately one percent every 35 seconds is it really just a NoPro?

I recently acquired a brand new GoPro Hero 12 Black from Amazon. Before its inaugural use, I ensured it was fully charged and updated to the latest software version. Despite starting at 100% battery, I observed a rapid drain of about one percent every 35 seconds, which seems abnormal. Although GoPro claims it should provide approximately 70 minutes of recording time at the highest resolution, t...

101st subscriber checking in. I’m a union operating engineer that has hit a pretty big slow period at work and I’m looking at building my own rig to get some business drummed up in Michigan near our summer home. I’m really enjoying watching your new journey
Hi thank you for viewing it's def a journey and lots of fun. I enjoy the build part especially since I'm not a handyman I'm happy with what I was able to do. I am a full time barber so this is all new to me. Good luck I'm here if you need any help.
You did all that with no hot water?
I guess it would be helpful but I built this on a budget plus the trailer is only 4x8. Lastly my CRV is not rated to pull anything heavier than what's already onboard.
@@KrakenPressureWashing well I’m not hating. I want to specialize in concrete driveway and oil stains and it seems like hot water is a must for that. props for doing this and getting your own business going bro….
I agree if I was doing commercial work store fronts, dumpsters restaurants I probably would want to use hot water but for typical residential work here in Florida. It's not necessary.. the degreaser from Southeast soft wash works very well however it's too expensive. I'm sure you can find something comparable for way less..
Yo. I was curious about your Vevor 5.5 pump. Wanted to see how its hold up and how many washes have you done with it.
Not a lot. Prob more hours than # of jobs if that makes sense? I'm new so it takes me a few hours to do a roof/house then rinse. But for what I've done its was def worth spending only $55. I use at how to wash my car too.
@@KrakenPressureWashing that's great. I had my eye on that pump. I'm going to get it. I'll also get a second one for back up like you did just in case. Thanks!
I don't think anyone stole your sign. I used to be an operations manager for a wholesale landscape supply. We had several delivery trucks with door magnets with our logo and US DOT number on them. We had a mystery of some disappearing. Found out at highway speeds they have a high chance of being blown off by the wind. Finally had a driver witness it in his mirror. They come off silently too. We were so cheap so we just glued them to the truck after that 😂 because a truck got stopped and got a ticket for no US DOT number on truck, we were crossing state lines and had to follow Dot rules.
I never drove on the highway just side roads. So weird luckily they are only $40 to replace
Can you run two of those in siamese?
That's a great idea I don't know but i will try. That would also make a good video.
Great to hear that it worth the try, these other brands are ridiculously expensive. I'm working on building a system with dual of these to increase the flow. wish me luck.
That's a great idea. I feel like you don't actually get 5.5 gallons my garden hose rinses faster I would like a bigger pump. SESW has an 18gpm but it's very expensive.
@@KrakenPressureWashing That's their 16 gpm, that is a dual head pump, it's like your 2 pumps running of a single motor, that's why it's 24v, the motor needs a lot of power to move both heads at the same time at 150 psi, you take your 2 pumps, plumb them in parallel, adjust the pressure to 90PSI and VOILA, you have a 11 GPM (open flow= at the pump ) at 90PSI that will give you at least 55 to 60 feet of reach, and it only cost you less than 10% of that 24V monstrosity, that down the road will give you more headaches than solutions, plus you can alternate if you want to use either 1 pump or both pumps and if you need to replace one it will be just $55.00 bucks. How's that sound?
Great idea. Thanks for posting
Amazing, wonder how it's been working for you so far? I'm trying to build one.
It works great. I had so much fun making my own.
@@KrakenPressureWashing I just got my set of KAPLAN 3/4 for the system that I'm trying to build. they are exactly like those of yours and looks like the GF.😁 I see that you are in FL, me too. do you have ways that we can communicate to exchange ideas about the projects?
Did it work?
Yes! It works great so far . Bought a second as a backup
Surprised I found a video on this topic! You have the model and weight of your trailer? Good to see its definitely possible LOL!
I knew someone out there would like to see this! I bought it from someone on Facebook marketplace no stickers no registration title or information. I registered it as homemade and got it weighed. Total weight was 640 pounds with nothing on it. Kinda heavy but it's more heavy duty with full size tires. I think I am at the maximum tow capacity of 1500 pounds with all equipment on trailer now.
Looks good bro
Thanks for watching ! Appreciate you
Get that money bro, only goes up from here bro , started my business in the back of a Honda hatchback
Nice work brother can you tell me more about the setup with the reels. Is it welded or screwed in ?
Thanks man. It's an aluminum dunage rack (a shelf commonly used in restaurants) cost me $40 for 4 ft length got 2. Weighs only 6 pounds and can hold 1400 pounds I drilled holes and bolted it to the side of trailer. I have a video on it. Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/q3WMpe4w0aQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iFS5PFiIfg5BrVqI
What size is your water tank?
Water tank is 65 gallons $200 at toolbarn SH is 35 gallons. I don't have a truck I'm towing with Honda CRV which can only pull 1500# but for starting out it's more than plenty.
Perfecto, don't know the reason in paying a grand for one of these, it's a just a regulator. This one came out just right.
Almost makes want want to build them and sell them
What's that aqua colored coating on the wood? It looks like good stuff .
Thanks, its an outdoor wood deck paint you can get in any color swatch at HD

I watch a lot of lawn care TH-cam vids too. I learn a lot 👷🏼♂️
Is that a dunnage rack from a restaurant? To keep food off the floor?
Yes sir. Weighs 6 pounds can hold 1400# costs $40 and was the perfect size. I've considered cutting off legs for aesthetics but may attach a sign to it. I made a video on it here th-cam.com/video/q3WMpe4w0aQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8fUDHmJ6G7WXXn7p

Soft wash for tile roofs. You never want to power wash or use harsh chemicals.
When that membrane is gone on a 30 + roof you're gonna need to apply some pressure never say never 😅

What is that aluminum piece the hose reels are sitting on?
Glad ya asked. I found an aluminum dunage rack that is commonly used in restaurants. It's basically an aluminum shelf that holds 1400 pounds and only weighs 6lbs I was concerned how the welds would hold up being it's bolted to side rail of trailer but It gets support from the wheel well. I may cut of the legs or attach a custom made sigh to it. $40 for a 4 foot long piece can't go wrong. It's strong, light, rust proof looks cool and cheap. No need to cut wood or weld. Just bolt on.
Well done! You will learn quickly with that nice setup. Just a quick tip...for outdoor furniture, after a proper dwell time and the right mix, the unwanted organics will come off with a low pressure rinse. This will save you from damaging outdoor furniture with the turbo nozzle...it is just not worth the risk using so much pressure. Outdoor furniture usually will come clean with a 1% mix and longer dwell time. Pretreat concrete with a 3% and let dwell for awhile. I usually apply the solution to concrete first then wash house and I clean concrete last. Great job!
Thank you for the advice Craig.
good job
🙏
Hello
hi
Where in the world did you get them hose reels, and how much?
They are 12 inch Titan stainless steel. I was going to go with some Walmart hose reels but these really give a professional look and will last a long time . They are sold all over the Internet for about $400 apiece. I would not recommend this to someone just starting out but for me it was a nonnegotiable to have good hose reels.
Came out good nice work . If it was me I would of hit it with a 3% mix right of the batt then left for 15 mins and it would of come off like butter
Yeah man that was the original plan but the 12v pump stopped pumping. Brand new pump too. Not sure what happen but I'm sure it was user error it started working again when I git home to inspect. I actually pulled out the pump up sprayer and hit it again with exactly 3% . The high pressure ball valve also snapped on this first use. Maybe I tightened it on too hard? Already replaced it with a DN10. Check out temu they have lots of great pressure washing fittings for less.
Yea I will take a look on there for sure
Awesome job. Do you have a link for the table/platform that your hose reels are mounted on?
Hi it's an aluminum dunage rack used in the restaurant industry. Solid it holds about 1,400 pounds and weighs like 6lb. Cost about $40 I made a video on it will prob make another as I'm new at making you tube videos and could prob do a better job video : th-cam.com/video/q3WMpe4w0aQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_M4EieovK214BxN- Racks: www.webstaurantstore.com/14877/dunnage-racks.html
Nice little setup man. Do you have a link to that ladder rack ? Looking to install one just like that on my 5x8 trailer
a.co/d/aazJBO3
It's nice because it has adjustment screws to tighten so you won't get any rattle
@@KrakenPressureWashing cool, thanks man
lol looking back not sure I can call this little 4x8 a "rig"
😳 Promo-SM
A little tip on backing the trailer, put your hand at the very bottom of the steering wheel, and if you need the trailer to go right move your hand right, same as with going left. I know going opposite throws a lot of people off. The shorter the trailer the quicker it turns.
Yes def a mind trick. I also find it easy to look backwards helps my brain steer opposite. I put a wheel on the bottom of trailer jack in case I ever need to unlatch and physically spin trailer around 🤣
Nice rig. Congrats man. That bank gonna roll in
on your rig that is.
Congrats on taking the leap of faith and getting it done. Any chance you have a rough estimate on the price for everything and a list of items used. Thanks
About 5k including used trailer. can be done for less. Each titan hose reel is $400 but I wanted stainless steel plus it looks more professional I think. You can get cheaper 55 gallon drum tanks on FB these were 200 each. You'll spend a lot on hoses and fittings. If I could do it again I would have got a better pressure washer. It's a Simpson 4pm. No belt or gear :(
@@KrakenPressureWashing That's the washer Im looking to purchase to stay on a tight budget LMAO. Which one are you eyeing up? Thanks for the response
@@PoconoWashPros it works well except it dosent have a bypass unloader. I didn't know what that feature was till after I bought. hopefully I can spare you the trouble by letting you know that with this washer, you have to constantly spray water or the pump will overheat whereas with a bypass unloader, you can let off the trigger and Water will bypass through a hose back to the tank.
@@KrakenPressureWashing What makes you afraid of your pressure washer? I ask because I got a brand new, used one time, 4 gpm pressure washer for $100. I've had units like this one many times and had no issues selling them for $600 each. What's the main advantage of belt drive? I'm thinking the important thing is to have external bypass valve that dumps back into the tank while pressure isn't being used.
@@8SecSleeperit's a great machine. I just don't like that it doesn't have a bypass unloader but there is a work around to install one. I purchased one for about $70 haven't installed it yet. $100 you can't go wrong. The day you upgrade this could be your backup
So it's been around a month since you made this video.... how much are the rocking back and forth?
It's solid. Put 200 feet 1/2 pvc softwash hose, 200 ft 3/8 high pressure hose and 150ft flexzillq garden hose. I'm having so much fun building it I want to sell it and build another one !
