Apple getting destroyed by Huawei for 2 minutes straight (iPhone 16 vs Mate XT)
Yesterday, Apple launched the iPhone 16, yet another boring release with little to no changes over last year's model. Meanwhile, Huawei unveiled the world's first tri-foldable smartphone, the Mate XT. This is a satirical comparison of the two launch events for entertainment purposes only.

Can you mix 2 identical RAM kits?
มุมมอง 58Kปีที่แล้ว
There's countless videos out there about why you shouldn't mix and match different RAM kits with different speeds. But what about mixing 2 of the exact same kit? If you already have 2 sticks of RAM and want to add 2 more identical sticks, watch this video to find out if you should.

Hifiman Edition XS Review + Comparison to Sundara - WATCH THIS BEFORE YOU BUY
มุมมอง 25K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I purchased Hifiman's new Edition XS headphones and had a chance to test them out side by side with my Sundaras. These are my honest thoughts on how the two headphones compare, and whether the XS are actually worth upgrading to. #hifiman #headphone #review
You are lucky! I had two sticks of DDR4 (2020 purchases date) in slots 2 and 4. Purchased the same two sticks in 2024. Same color, timing, everything. I added the two (2024) sticks in slots 1 and 3. The pc did boot but kept getting BSOD, and Chrome kept crashing. I removed the new 2024 sticks, and now the problem went away. The memory in question is : G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series (Intel XMP) DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MT/s CL19-20-20-40 1.35V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Red (F4-3600C19D-32GVRB). The 2020 and 2024 did not play well together, although they were identical.
Almost 2 years and this video still helps people like me. I have exactly same problem you had, lucky I also have the same kit available I bought a year ago. Thank you!
so can I use my Corsair vengeance pros with my new Corsair vengeance pros? they the same speed n everything else the only difference is my old ram sticks are taller then my new ones.. will that be a issue even tho they the exact same?
Have you stress-tested the kits? For example, even with just two channels populated from the same kit, I got memory errors on disabling and enabling the memory integrity option in Windows Security. I had to retrain the RAM modules by disabling Memory Context. This might sound irrelevant but one never knows where the problem hits.
What about DDR4 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 3200 MHz CL 16 Corsair LPX and DDR4 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) 3200 MHz CL 16 Corsair LPX together for a total of 80 GB? Do you think it could work?
Thank you!
now you have zebra ram 🦓
I'm using a 3000 cl 15 kit I bought on clearance intended for intel systems on an AM4 system. Turns out the AMD ryzen 5 memory controller doesn't support odd CAS latencies. It runs at 3200 cl16 just fine
I’m looking at doing the exact same thing. I have the exact same Corsair RAM kit and I’m also thinking of going with the second set as white like you as my case is white. My mother board is a bit older (MSI Z390), and I’m hoping adding more ram will help speed up my PC. Thanks for posting this video!
but the question remains if this is also possible with DDR5 or not. I keep hearing that DDR5 might get really unstable and it might not run at the advertised speeds. Too many conflicting answers out here
Didn’t work for me. Bought exact same kit. Only ran on 1833mhz. Gskill tridentz
I initially had 32GB (2x16GB) of RAM with a speed of 6400MT/s, which I upgraded to 64GB (2x32GB) modules running at 6600MT/s using XMP profile. According to the internet if I use all 4 the mt/s will drop to 6400mt/s on 96GB ram
I did a bit of research on the topic. From my understanding, crucial memory would be the absolute safest bet for higher capacity ram kit upgrades. (Reason) Crucial makes their own ram chips (micron parent company to crucial) As we all know, Corsair doesn't make ram chips. So for Corsair to guarantee that memory works for kits only indicates they use different chip manufacturers in each kit based on market price and availability. So the sub-timings can vary from chip manufacturers. That's when the average person can run into possible instability issues. The solution: if memory is unstable for 3200MT/s for instance on two identically spec kits. Run them both at 3000MT/s as the speed and Sub timings should be matched by the motherboard. Validate in CPUZ that all Sub timings are the same and run a mem test through windows memory diagnostic at the minimum. Also mixing capacity can cause potential issues, such as 32gb kit and 64gb kit to get a total of 96gb. One kit may be single rank, while the other may be dual rank. This can cause an issue. Again two larger capacities can also have denser chips between modules, despite having the same brand timings ect. I think a more comprehensive video could be good for this channel. I do think buying identical kits by the manufacturer will yield good results 90% of the time. I have mixed two of the same brand kits before and did have an issue once, and did have to step down the speed to a pre-defined timing on the motherboard. However i fo not overclock ram and play with timings as i dont have the time, no pun intended, to spend getting a fraction of an FPS when not being GPU bound.
I was under the impression that you have to keep each pair of ram kits to its own channel memory. But what you have shown here is the ram kits split into two different channels for both. Cause slots 2, 4 are two different channels and 1,3 are two different channels and you have the two different kits paired with each other in each memory channel. I have had ingame crashing issues and i noticed the two middle slots of ram 2,3 are much higher temps than the outside slots 1,4 so i will try your way and see if the heat in 2,3 slots is still higher maybe the overheating is causing the crash cause it happens after like 2+ hrs of gaming.
Awesome! Thanks! I had 2x16GB then I bought an X299X and bought a second set of 2x16GB and a 4x16GB kit. All the memories were the same G-Skill memory but I kept getting errors when running XMP. Only later I found out the QVL says that I can only populate 4 of the 8 sockets with that memory ... and that got me somewhat mad at myself. Memtest86 quickly showed errors when running the 8 sticks at 3200MT/s but the system is pretty stable at 2133MT/s. 2133 is somewhat slower, though ... Oh, btw, 4 sticks used Micron ICs and the other 4 used Samsung ICs ... that got me mad at G-SKill!!! I'll check what happens if I use only 4 slots. My goal was to have a few VirtualBox machines running but it did not work that well, though. Thanks for the video!
thanks man
i had 2x 4GB Adata DDR4 2600, 288 pin sticks, to add 2 more the exact same would have cost me 200$. Turns out G.Skill Ripjaw makes the exact same ram for 50$ so i bought that, been mix matched for 5 years with no issue. Literally the same ram made in the same factory with different heatsinks and different price. Both casings metalic red btw.
What you mean by mixing brother. IN This video You're not mixing anything you're adding the same BRAND SAME KIT. MIXING Mean you add a new kit with different manufacturers different speeds and Timing. I just want to let you know that Timing Is relative to memory speed the low it's the fast the timing should be the fastest it is the timing will become slower.
I got a second pair of identical ram sticks and the now the PC only boots into windows without xmp
Show us your Head size. 😂
I wasn't THAT lucky. I've bought 2kits of 16GB (2x8GB).......all in all, 32GB for my Gigabyte AB350M DS3H V2 and Ryzen 5 2600, but I've experienced problems. TWO exact ram kits, same week of manufacturing, same date, same chips......BUT no. I can run it, but only on 2400MTs. Applying XMP causes BSOD.
Is it okay to add dual channel 2x8gb (3600 CL18) to my existing 2x8gb (3733 Cl17)? it is the same brand and even product number just different speed and timing. I just use around 3200 ram speed in xmp.
You can mix any RAM sticks, you can even use 3 stick for dual channel. This do not mix bla bla is the biggest nonsense. The only issue you can run into is, you did it wrong and now your dual channel is way too slow or you have mixed a faster with a slower kit and thus overall speed is slower, that´s it. You can even mix different color oooh woow tech jesus thank you, as if the color of the RAM changes any of it´s physical properties. OMG
Not always a fail-safe approach... you just got lucky: I bought the "exact same kit" too, 100% identical product name and model number (Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 - even in the same colour ;) )... then I found out it depends on how reliable the Vendor is.... after Corsair got lots of positive reviews on their Vengeance LPX 3200CL16 kits, they changed the underlying chips: there was a tiny label under the DDR4 label that changed: I think they were v4.xx and v5.xx.... up to v4 those had Samsung B-Die.... and the later models had SK Hynix. If I borrowed another Samsung B-Die kit, I could still run the rated XMP speeds, but if I tried the 4 sticks of Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C1 purchased a few months apart, it was very unstable to the point it couldn't even boot into Windows. I could run either of them at the rated speeds.... I just couldn't mix the Samsung and SK Hynix at the rated speeds, despite them being branded by Corsair as "the exact same kit".
I can't see any reason even before watching this video why adding in additional identical ram sticks will be an issue? What difference does it make if you install four sticks right away or add in two more later? None. It's like the industry standard for upgrades and why most mid to high end mobo have four slots to begin with so you can add more ram later if needed. There you go saved 6 minutes of your time!
This is the exact thing I’m doing bc I actually need 32gb for my needs
I have the same brand, the same speeds and the same timings but they have different sizes. I took a friend's advice on mixing ram sizes, just as long as the speeds, timing are the same... The Ram arrived today, and I am scared to install it with the old stuff still in there. I most likely will remove the 16GB kit and install the 32GB kit. And then buy another 32GB kit in a couple of weeks.
I heard that thousands of Chinese are declaring that Huawei Mate XT is better than iPhone16. And the reason is the opposite-- they don't really believe that. Chinese just want to buy the iPhone16 at a cheaper price. So, bragging on social media about Huawei being 'better' is a big running joke. Well, PDD's Apple iPhone16 reduced its price by 10-11%. There you go! Well done, Apple fans! 😂😂
THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I'm in a pretty similar situation with the same RAM model and an MSI motherboard with 2 dual channel slots- the difference being that in my region there's not a single place online or physical where I could find an 8*2 ram kit, only single sticks are available now so I have to buy 2 identical ones.
Apple is getting kicked out of china. Im 💯% sure
if I have 2 kits of 8 gigs and 2 kits of 16 gigs but same model same brand same latency same everything just the size will it matter ?
I will be trying this out next week. Will inform you on this, what happens.
No google services 😂
No money🤨🤨🤨???????
Why should Apple innovate when they can just steal people? money every year with the same product? In 5 years if they continue to exist, they will get a Fold phone and pretend it's an innovation.
Its a 'no brainer' to install two IDENTICAL kits, the issues arise if they are different (say it's a 8gb kit (2400mhz) vs. 16gb kit (3200mhz)).
😂😂😂 apple joke
HUAWEIs technology is soo advanced even kirin 9000s 7nm beat the sd8gen3 4nm and apple a17 pro 3nm i seen the gaming test and stuff soo don't worry about huawei and even HUAWEIs harmonyOS NEXT is not android system and it's a pc lvl system to play pc lvl games it's HUAWEI oprathingsystem, and HarmonyOS not HarmonyOS NEXT but HarmonyOS usess android code for android apps to work it's not on android system and mate xt usess HarmonyOS 4.2 .
Wait what’s exiting about the huawei phone ? With the cost of $3k I can get an iPad Pro 2024 ,iPhone 16 and a MacBook Pro 2021 with the amount for just that android phone 😂😂😂😂who’s fooling who ?
HUAWEI is not android HUAWEI have it's own system that is miles better than apple in technology HUAWEI technology is insane
Why Iphone 16 when there are also way cheaper but also better phones than it lol.
@@legendaryblood1937the competition set was Apple vs huawei wasn’t it ?
@@fluxnekta money is the issue isn't it?
@@legendaryblood1937money is not the issue we are making comparison with the two phones and eco system…they say the huwawei is superior because it folds ,I’m asking what sense does it make if it just offers same mobile os and apps and more expensive when you can get a phone ,pc and tablet with the amount of buying the phone, money is not the issue it’s just if you choose something else you get more value for your money
Okay but 3nm is impressive 😅
not when huawei 7nm beat apple a17 pro 3nm and even kirin 9000s from 2023 beat it
Well done Huawei for showing the world what real innovation is as to what Apple say is innovation……‼️👀 🇨🇳😇
A phone that costs 3x an iPhone is better ? No waaaay 😂. Look who they are marketing this commercial to. Better have a nice suit and a nicer portfolio 😂😂
apple is a potato for huawei
I mean, by that logic, Samsung A series is better then iPhones because iPhones cost 3x as much.
Well let's see who sells what most. And then let's decide who killed who 😅
the technology is that matter not sales and HUAWEI didn't need to make a tri fold to me miles better than apple HUAWEI have always been better older huawei product beat the newer apple product and it's much
@@HUAWEI99x When you mass produce a product, feasibility matters. These are just like concepts that one or two are going to use. The production costs are more and the software experience is pathetic. Everyone prefers a slab phone as long as the whole ecosystem of software and the hardware are in sync with each other. Apple might be working on such concepts in their labs. Just that they won't mass produce it unless it is feasible.
By your logic McDonalds is better than a 5 star restaurant.
Whatever the trolling they do. Iphone always gives the better performance and user experience.
You gotta be trolling?😂 It's possibly be better in terms of Huawei because of the sanctions U.S made just to protect Apple. But Iphone is always behind against its competition like Samsung, Vivo(Chinese Version) and others
Iphone is just part of the western main media propaganda shit mate we enjoy samsung and huawei

Buying an iPhone isnt dumb. Upgrading every year is.
No, it is dumb, you were on a right track.
Im not using an iPhone but I agree
The west has been real silent after Huawei dropped this
Huawei just punched apple in the face at the right time 😅😂
You Chinese bot farms are HILARIOUS!! iPhone16 pre-orders: 38million. Huawei Mate XT pre-orders: 5.8million.

apple Cult selling same garbage to dumb customers 🤣
Guess which is going to sell out? 😂
Huawei had 3.6 millions pre order that day. And now people have to wait 4 days to get orders.
Now there are over 6 millions preorders and Huawei doesnt have enough phones.@@fakedazzleful
I feel sorry for those how still think if 5 year back and it's now iPhone 5 years back
