I brought one of these used in 79 for $500.00 the tank was bent and back fender was torn off the owner wrecked it and got hurt and scared of it so I got a good deal.i fixed it up with new tank and fender and had lots of fun but sold it 2 years later wish I hadn't it was fast .

👍 Un 1100 gsxr ça envoi déjà très bien en full power et c'est trop cool , alors avec un turbo c'est clair que ça lève facilement sur tous les rapports , mais attention ⚠ sur un bitume froid, la virgule arrive vite, mais c'est un bon bloc moteur pour recevoir quelques watts de plus. Bien vu 👍. Phil the Bike 🏍️ 🇨🇵, gsxr 750. 1985 , 1100. 1988 et 1000 gsxr. r 2018. ✌️

Assåå.. Hojen du skrapade ihop åt mig: 1991áns GSXR 1100. Hmm. Vinter. Körde upp hojen på släpet till super-Norrland... tog ett antal timmar.. väntade hela vintern... våren... det var dags! Jag tog tåget upp - du hämtade mig på stationen. "Jo,....så att... såhär är det " : Du har Två Lägen på Turbon!? , Low, och HIGH .. Ok? .......ok...? ..... Körde söderut -.. Gävle...efter 20tals-mil så vågade jag mig på att vrida lite på rullen ... "PFFFFFTTTT" ...."SHI>TET!!!" ...OMG!!!! Acceleration gånger miljarder..!!!!! ......vad är det som låter PDFDDDDDFFFTTT???? ...antar att motorn håller på att skära ihop.... så .... smygkörde hem alla de sjuka milen ..... Helg... Bikes and power is not the problem. Power enough on most bikes, the thing is you can’t use it;) You won’t be faster 0-100 then most super bikes. You prob are slower. Couse Its a hard to use power band. Once you turbo spools up your bike is out of control. Going for a wheely.. You need electronics to keep your bike down. And maybe longer wheelbase.

maybe you would want a ratio of a little less torque and a little more top speed with this kind of power?

Adding a front/nose wing like the Aprilia GP bike could be useful to keep that nose down...

Strange power band. Doest look like fun riding. Nothing happens and then it all comes in a short boost you get the wheely. You need electronics to control the power. And not pull a wheely. But use the power with grip

Is this a custom turbo kit?? If so do you think this kit would work in a watercooled 1100

I feel like when you're taking slow corners you always have to remember to be out of boost because once you blip the throttle while in corner you're gonna pop a wheelie. She's looks like a lot of fun though :))

Mc-X? You built me a turbo-gsxr-beast back in the day - about 1994ish. Won the local streetrace that year. Insane bike. Remember calling you about "upping" the power a bit before a upcoming race - and- you said "turn "this" screw 1/4´s turn, ...and ...I turned it like about 100%.....and the bike went ludicrous speed...like 3xPlaid .. :) (Hälsningar från Gävle)
