I used to debate islamophobes, but ive stopped now because it's all this effort just for them to not care and stay as they are. Nowadays I dont even bother, because I always know whats going to happen. Im not saying to never do debates, some people have open hearts. But for me personally I dont want to inconvenience myself so much in the hopes that they will at the very least have a more positive view on islam instead of just leaving the argument and never responding again. If you want to do it, by all means go ahead. Do not use me as a role model, im simply sharing my thoughts and experiences.

It’s not Islamophobic to ask why did Mohammed marry a 9 year old. It’s a legitimate concern.

As someone who was raised Muslim, who still believes a lot of the beliefs in Islam, things like Zakaat, the rejection of compelling people to follow your faith and the encouragement to seek knowledge are really admirable, I have still found that the reasons I left the religion remain completely unaddressed. I still surround myself with Muslims, my community is mostly made up of Muslims, these specific Muslims live more in accordance with empathy and decency than the masjids I grew up in, but I've seen no version of Islam that truly addresses either the problem of evil or the fact that the central prophet in Islam, the example we're all supposed to follow married a child, there is no justification for an adult marrying a child under any real circumstances, like betrothals between two people of a similar age are one thing, but when one is fully middle aged and the other is under 10 i just can't think of any justification because children cannot consent to a sexual relationship with adults, they aren't yet mentally developed until they are themselves adults.

All you have to do, is ask them this question, and move on without responding back: What is the name of the Woman who recommended the Prophet to Marry Aisha? That alone will have the unintentionally blind ones looking towards the truth.

I agree with you, but we also shouldnt forget to just tell people about islam without arguing. Many simply dont know what islam is and are surprised and intruiged once they find out. And also if you do argue with someone, often they are either insecure and are defensive, or they dont have a problem with islam, but with something emotional in their lifes that makes them question Allah, eventhough its just whisperes and doubts from shaytaan. For example, if someone brings up something and you start to have a conversation, many muslims know 1 or 2 things about islam and feel like they have to be offensive and rip the other persons arguments apart and be agressive, but this leads even sincere people to be defensive and turned away from Islam. And many have someone that died in their family or friends, and tehy think a good god wouldnt do this, but if you explain for example that you are tested like any person on this earth, that we are not in Jannah and you will get to see your loved ones inshaallah and your reward in paradies, they could turn around and turn to Allah inshaallah. ask him, you have your eyes and ears replaced for that loved one and you are required to live like the poorest person in the poorest and most wartorn country? Or do you want to stay blessed and enter Jannah with your loved ones, with the only codition you wont see your loved one in this world for a few years? But ofcourse, if guidance isnt written for them, no effort from us can turn their hearts.

i agree with the title but not really at the same time, cuase im only 13 and my mother is 43, and my dad is 53, my mom and dad arent married anymore, after i turned 10 i started looking more into religion cuase i felt lost, some may find it hard to beilive but when i was 9 i was at the edge, i wanted to kms, so i started looking into religion, my dad had always been muslim and my mother always cristain, my father wasnt the best muslim but he would practise the religion and teach me and my brother abt islam at times, so when i felt lost i looked into islam, reading the quran, old test, new test, and also torah, the way i felt when ready quran and understanding even at a young age not even understanding alot of arabic properly, it still made so much sense, i was never not a muslim i just didnt ever practise a religoin, altough i did know there was a god and i did used to go to mosque with my dad, so after i started taking islam seruisly, i realised that this is a miracle, and so much stuff in the quran is insane to beilive, that it was discovered 1500 years ago, i started learning ALOT abt islam, and eventually got confortable enough to pray in a cristian household, i soon started preaching to my mother abt islam, from when i was 11 till now, these past 2 years honestly made my head hurt cuase the questions my mother would ask abt islam and stuff she would say to defend the fualts and contradictions in cristianity were so funny, everyday would be a debait. eventually i realised that my mom knew islam was the truth ever since she marreid my father, my mom knew islam was the truth she just was never ready to tell her family, she was scared she would be judged, when i asked my mom if she felt this way, she indeed did, i explained to her this dunya is temporary, so alhamdulillah after 2 years of my mom disrespecting islam and making fun of it, and moking me for practising it, a few days ago she took her shahada with me, alllahu akbar
