In this video I fix the rumbling noise that happened at Silverstone and then go to Daikoku Nights at Caffeine & Machine.

Keen to follow this build, it’s going to scream! I have a stock b16a motor and paired it with a full exhaust from fujitsubo and a Gruppe M ram intake, it sounds so bloody good and so much fun to drive.
@@DanozDirectional I bet that sounds ace! This won't be revving as high as a B16 but will still sound fire I think. The exhaust is one thing I haven't decided on yet. As the head is ported, ideally I want a custom port matched manifold. Thanks for the comment dude, and welcome to the channel ✊️

@@obtrunco the manual rack is quicker, less turns lock to lock. I've had an EF before without power steering, it's fine.

@@foshoitzdanny Hey bud. I had the pulley honed to match the crank instead, so it can be fitted and removed without a press. It's a nice tight fit, I'm happy with it.
@@DangerPooleMotors the press fit is part of how the ATI damper functions... I definitely question this step. ATI sells a tool specifically for installation and removal. I run one of these on my DC2 ITR motor. Wishing your build nothing but the best from the US! I just discovered your channel. Will be following along!
@@camerongrady580 hey bud, welcome to the channel! Thanks for following. Yes, the ATI pulley has to be a tight fit, but from new they're actually too tight. If you force press them on then they will never come off, or they'll damage the crank when you remove them. So, honing to fit your crank is the right thing to do. It's still a tight fit, but the right kind of tight now, not too tight.
@@DangerPooleMotors the clearance spec from ATI for our crank diameter is .0009" to .0012". I assume that's what you measured. Mine was within spec right out of the box. So my experience was just different, and didn't require any honing. Glad you're doing it right! 🤙
@@camerongrady580 I'm glad yours was a good fit! Mine was way undersized. It would have caused damage to force it. Even with the honing it still needs a puller to get off, so is still a tolerance fit.
I built a high comp b20b8 yes a b20b8 it was an Australian version it has stock full iron sleeves designed like a b18, I did a pro style devcon block came out mint fully built non vtec boosted held 18 psi no sweat.. b series is a great motor…

Think the mix of speaking to camera and voiceover works well, great to see the link between the work and event as well on this one. @DangerPooleMotors It's the EK coupe civic SI US model, but in Europe it was called the VTI. Came with a B16a2, so much fun, should of kept it.

I’m curious nippon sales a P30 style piston I was reading online it said to put your car around 13:1 compression with b20b block and b16 head since it’s domed piston
@frivera735 hey bud. I'm not aware of that particular piston but sure, there are a lot of choices out there.

Yes bud. Crank, flywheel, clutch and belt pulley all balanced together.

Hey bud. These are 84.5mm Wiseco pistons. And I'll be mapping to Shell V Power 99 RON fuel ✊

Sometimes yeah! When there are cool cars that weren't sold in right hand drive markets. Some old American stuff is really cool and only available in LHD.
