Very nice work on the Rc-10T! I remember when I bought the Team kit, and mine actually came with a pre-painted body in the kit from Team Associated! I ended up selling mine to friend and I’ve kicked myself every since because it was such a cool truck. Now that same friend works at the local hobby shop and happened to run across another Rc-10T that was in excellent shape but needed a few things like a tie rod that was missing and a body, so i bought it from him and just finished it, but still need to paint the body, trying to come up with my own paint scheme. I’m absolutely crazy about anything vintage Team Associated, especially the gold pans, which I have two of those as well, one of which is a limited re- release shelf queen with the orange box art body and one from 1984 Edinger kit that’s my runner!! Thanks for you cool vid, I truly enjoyed watching! Joe.

If you were to put a 16 tooth pinion gear do you think it would make the motor really hot?

Just seen this video looking for suggestions for high clearance links since I picked up a Wraith Spawn 2.2 yesterday. From my research, you have the links wrong. The bent links go on the top and the straight ones on the bottom. Seems not many, if any, companies offer lower high clearance links. If you look at the geometry of it all you can see the driveshaft is just about as low at the axle as the link mounts. If you add a bent link then it would expose the driveshaft and allow it to take damage while crawling about. Also the longer lengths would need to go up top to keep the proper driveline angle. I'm sure you probably figured this all out by now and this is old news to you. Did you ever find a company that offers at least some type of lower high clearance links? Doesn't need to be much of a bend but some would help for sure. Thanks for the vids!

You got really lucky getting the two best boats for the money. I have both of these too. I put a 50 amp esc and my FlySky receiver in my Rapid and a 1500 mAh 3s in it...I could barely keep it on the water! It literally tries to jump out of the water and the motor takes it like a champ with no problems! Get a metal prop and sharpen it like a razor and watch it chew through that moss. 😉😂😂😂. P.S. put a 14.8 4S in your Arrow and watch it do something insane! Don't worry, I've ran dozens of 14.8's thru mine with stock electronics! Enjoy your new boat.😉😉😉

I got this exact same boat it's a ripper. I have six batteries for it 3000mah each and it goes great it you run it under 50c discharge rate it doesn't go into limp mode

Don't forget that one needs the flex shaft greesed before U go out. I've got one I've got 6 2600mah batterys and that's gives me heaps of run time

I just bought more 2200 mAh battery s and they fit perfectly so don't need to worry about rebuilding the battery tray

The reason why you going into limp mode with the big battery is because it's a 50c discharge rating it's too high for that boat
