Complete Super Metroid Soundtrack (1994)
มุมมอง 480K9 ปีที่แล้ว
Super Metroid takes the cake as my favorite game of all time. It was the game that introduced me to the Metroid story/universe that I fell so in love with. Part of what made this game so memorable and enjoyable for me (even now) is the music. The music perfectly captures the atmosphere and feel of the storyline while providing a rich sense of immersion as you explore the mysterious planet Zebes...

The Metroid Prime Soundtrack! This is one of my favorite soundtracks, as well as my 2nd favorite game thus far. The music in Prime has all the immersive and atmospheric qualities of its predecessors while adding an awesome new level of richness and depth. This soundtrack has been a continuous source of happiness and inspiration for me and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! :) Track Listin...
I was watching television
Still come back to this to listen to while working. Absolute masterpiece of gaming soundtracks.
The music is integral to the greatness of this game.
If nintendo ever remakes this game, I kinda hope they keep the same soundtrack. It's amazing and i love every single part of it
I always loved the atmosphere and music in this game. As a kid I totally sucked at it and never completed it. Maybe I should change that some day, go back and play through it once and for all.
who here from dashie
4:31 Are we not going to talk about aliens from Uranus invading the Space Colon
17:43 I would name this "Something is wrong here"
SPACE COLON
18:43 is my favorite and i know you came here for this
i am a hardcore sega fanboy and i have to say that snes won the battle only because it has super metroid in its arsenal of games. simply because super metroid is the best 16bit game EVER MADE.
I started playing Metroid Prime, but I met Super Metroid and I liked it more than the Prime saga. Great game súper Metroid
A classic. Truly, a real classic, is what Super Metroid is. I was a kid when i first saw this game back in '98. I could only watch as my older siblings played and they never let me play it but i was so enchanted by it. Sadly, the SNES was sold before i even touched it. I mostly played in the N64 onwards. All those years in between i never forgot what the game was like. How Samus ran, the music, the environment, and yes, the Screw Attack. After that, I played all the games that came out. I played Prime 1 -3, Fusion, Zero Mission, Other M, Hunters, Pinball too! I also withheld myself from ever searching up gameplay of Super. It was really difficult but it didn't help out i was a dummy and didn't have internet access reliably till 2011. Fiinally, for the first time i played the game i longed for when it digitally released in the Wii. Holy shit, I felt like i finally got back a missing piece of my memories and childhood. Everything was as mysterious and beautiful as i had seen it. Honestly one of my happiest moments in videogames.
Song #24 (Maridia - Swampy Caverns) has always been among my favorites. Its eerieness is unmatched. It's also delightful to hum!
I feel sorry for shooting Crocomire into acid 😕😕
18:43 Brinstar ❤
number 24 Maridia reminds me very much of final fantasy 9
One of my favorite osts
1:00:45 Tourian sounds like my stomach after Indian food 🥵
I've done a rock/metal cover of some tracks from this amazing soundtrack and legendary game. Check it out on my channel! Thanks!
As close to a perfect game and soundtrack as you're ever gonna get. I love how in the end credits the music is very triumphant... then goes to mysterious... then back to dread and finally panic. One day I just hope I can be in the cinema and hear "The last Metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace"
Time to record this soundtrack on my OLYMPUS DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER-WS853!!!
33:46 - Crateria Theme always gave me hope, i love this song. So heroic!!
18:43-22:25 is very Depeche Mode ❤
Crateria Theme (Exterior) is among my favorites. It encapsulates that sense of impending doom thats about to happend once you go below the surface...
I love this game, and the music is a huge part of what drew me in. Am trying to restore my 1994 cart so I can play it again.
50:49 This track exemplifies the melancholy of hopelessness.
Epic Gems: 1:59, 5:15, 7:22, 22:25, 28:31, 1:04:35,
Imagine being a brain in a jar with one eye, and just having someone smash it open and start shooting missiles into your eye. I'd wake up drooling acid too.
Kraid/Crocomire/Phantoon theme goes hard ngl
The earlier levels especially have some absolutely terrifying music. This game used to scare me as a kid, in the best way ever.
I'm here for the 1 11 49
4:34 Space Colon?!
It's good to know that Ridley has his own Vader Ringtone that barely changed throughout the games.
47:27 Bro wyd in maridia without purple costume 😟
anyone hear the baby keen song. uses the brinstar beat
Brinstar (jungle) is perfect video game music
Such a haunting soundtrakc but so atmospheric. Truly incredible for the Super Nintendo!
Metriod 1 2 3(snes is 3) and some from gameboy were the best ever made. The game was unbelievable back then. Now a days if i played it i wouldn't want to play exploratory adventure games as much, so Im glad I played it as a kid. The gameboy one doesnt even get attention on youtube, while it was the most intense boss battles I ever had as a kid.
This was my favorite Metroid game and one of my favorite SNES games of all time. It had platforming like a Mario game. It had dungeon/equipment/ability unlocks like a Zelda game. It had battle mechanics like a Mega Man game. It had a dark and ominous vibe like a Castlevania game. It had badass music/sound like a Final Fantasy game. And it had the nostalgia of the original Metroid. It was like all of my favorite games combined into one. What more could a 9 year old ask for?
Thank you for this! By the way, I'll be 43 later this year, only game I come back to every 2 years or so with 1st time emotion but knowing the sequence from memory which makes it more exciting, but always have to go around something puzzling I forget, which also makes it more thrilling, each time!
My top 12: 1) Prologue/Ending 2) Mother Brain 3) Lower Norfair 4) Maridia (Swampy Caverns) 5) VS Ridley/Draygon 6) Lower Brinstar 7) Upper Brinstar 8) Crateria Main Theme 9) Maridia (Desert) 10) VS Kraid/Crocomire/Phantoon 11) VS Spore Spawn 12) Tourian
If you google a list of the best space music ever created, Brinstar will probably be in the top ten.
30 years ago wow how time flies man this is one of my top 10 games of all time i am so lucky to have played this back when it first came out , one of my most memorable gaming experiences of my life
I love the crateria theme exterior. So dark and intense. The storm, the brooding atmosphere captures landing on an alien planet with a dangerous mission with perfection. I would sit here on playthroughs and close my eyes as a kid. Same but on the opposite end for the crateria main theme. So triumphant and epic. Id sit and listen and feel exhilaration.
The japanese kick ass
This is simply the best game of all time and it's not even close
Crateria is my favorite, what about y’all?
I owned a snes but never play super metroid .. But im about to play it on Nintendo switch ... I'll let you know what i think about it
It's this the best game of the best Console ever made?
