This seems to be a GEC Everest fan. I do have a similar one in 60inch size from 1947 or later.
I thought it was the old desighn air boss or air mate because I couldn’t tell cause it missing the nut and the light makes it look cream colour

My heating doesn’t work it blows lovely and cold nicely on cool and 16 but when I try to increase to higher temps and change mode to dry and/or heat the heating doesn’t work why could this be?
I have the same problem did you ever find out the cause
If you live in areas that have heavy frosts reverse cycle aircons constantly go into defrost cycles. They do not work well for heating when it is below -3 deg C outside

Ah yeah. There are 4 of these im this house 2 of them have 3 speed regulators this one had its regulator replaced with a 3 speed clipsal regulator and then there is a 5 speed one.

Do you know how to set a timer for this system? I would like to have the heat kick in for my grandpa before he wakes up, so the house is warm when he gets out of bed. I can’t work it out 😅

I may have myself one in the upcoming future, One of my local shops has 3 of these, 2 definitely need a good repair etc, but fortunately one is no longer used, The guy said it spins too fast and worries it may fall of the ceiling, He put some paper of the regulator (original). The lady who works there said I was able to ask him if I could buy it off of him, I would like to know what you would offer for one of these, This one is is way better condition than the other 2 in the shop. Apparently it used to be a hairdresser shop but closed down 5 years ago, Now it's a second hand shop. Fan is is in good condition, All rattan is still in-tact. Paint is still in good condition, No rust, A little but of dust, No broken blades and I don't think it wobbles, I have never seen it in action before. But looking at the condition I am sure it doesn't wobble. I was gonna say $50 for the ceiling fan but I would like to know what you think is a good price for one of these.

Update at 2 years after this fan was cleaned up inside the motor: This fan will be undergoing a clean up on the blades and downrod after my mistral 1340 has been cleaned up and freed up unfortunately for the 1340 its bearings have failed and it will need its bearings completely replaced

It's in a pub which no doubt back in its day would have seen smokers in the pub as back when this one was built it was a fashionable thing to do which is why the mistral style 3 is there.

I have an Airmate ceiling fan from 2007 and is still running well. I have one from 2014 as well.
