Not to mention the pick up cavities, typically, barely even fit in the pickups inside of them and the fretwork being horrible But of course, by the sound of your voice, you don’t live in the United States so you probably got this. I’m still unsure of the benefit of routing with an IR. You already selected cabs and you could simply use the headphone out to your stage amp and the volume controlled to only affect your personal amp. The L/R could be routed using TRS to XLR or directly into a DI box. Either way, your FOH will sound the same as stage. But I feel like maybe I’m missing the point. So if anyone can clear his way, and the advantage please LMK.

Guitar stands are surprisingly underrated. A guitar in sight encourages me to pick up and start playing immediately. Instead of going through the hassle of opening a case and picking up the guitar from there

It’s about retaining value for me. Like LTDs are great but they’ll be about a grand then resell for $500. I take advantage of those deals on marketplace. Most recently bought a Jim Root strat which I don’t think is as nice as my LTD but will always be worth over a grand being a USA made Fender.

Man!! I watched some old SOAD stuff and just recalled there was commercial with Malakian on this amp so I searched YT and found your video. Everybody hates it ever since, but I think it is killer! You made it sound gorgeous, I love it. Transistor amps are not that bad at all, I love my Trademark 60 which was out there in similar years :) Cheers!

Also, the Jay Turser 'Les Paul' copy. It may look awesome, but the fretboard will probably buzz like crazy, and the tuning heads are cheap and hard to keep in tune. That was the mistake I made many years ago.

Because your done with that pedal noise/hum it makes go away “legally done” that’s what I am thinking

What string gauge, do you suggest for drop B in a Jackson dinky or Ibanez Dio and I dont know if I need to re-calibrate my guitar after the string gauge change

I don't know what it is about this amp, but I played a gig with it last week and near the end our drummer was going full bore (he digs in) and I had the gain and volume at 12 o'clock in a moderate sized room. It was my biggest concern buying this thing hoping to use it as a more portable amp, but honestly into a 2x12 its got more than enough volume to keep up with a full kit and a loud drummer.

@jakeleighguitar Is the baritone a 27? Is it decent? I live in US and need a 27 for dropA# half step up from drop A

It's very easy. HB to learn guitar. Gibson to play on a concert. :)

Garden variety Squire or Epiphone would suit most beginners. Advise that you shop (in person, not online) with someone that knows gear so they can properly test the instrument. Stick with about the $300 to $700 price range and there's plenty of good instruments you could find. I remember the $25 garage sale acoustic with half an inch of action my parents got me...fingers still hurt thinking about that.

Got a question you seem to be pretty knowledgeable about the stamp I want a new I want the new Rocky Horror V4 40 w my question is this I want to use it as it is with all of the effects in the amp but I was wondering because it has auxiliary input which I'm assuming is stereo could I run out of my multi-effects that I already have in the auxiliary port so I can still use my effects MLB in Stereo on that amp not a combination of both not a combination of both I was in the amp and my own effects but just to go into the auxiliary use it as an amplifier and use my pedal effects on it so I can have it for both uses for home recording if you could answer that for me I would be tremendously grateful

My very first guitar was a guitar with Floyd Rose, still have it 15 years later and still love it. I think it is not an issue to have it as a first guitar. Off course they are more work to change tuning, but as a beginner you should stay in standard tuning and focus on learning to play, no need to be changing tunings all the time.

I'm likely in the minority here, but I think the Harley Benton sounds better. I think anyone who gave the Gibson did so out of years of marketing/brand awareness to Gibson. Similar specs/materials. For the price of the Benton, I'd buy it and drop in a new wiring harness/upgraded caps/and pickups my friend winds for me purely to hop it up. But it sounds great as is.

The problem is the frequency, 2.8GHz. There are too many systems (audio, light…) working in that wifi 🛜 signal. The Shure is also able to choose 5.6GHz, hence the difference in price… I’ve been using the G50 (2.8GHz) from Line 6 for years and honestly never had any problems, but I am willing to pay the extra money for the GLXD 16+.
