One of all times best Monkees tunes and my personal favorites of Mike's material. "Listen To The Band" was released on Colgems single ( B Side to "Someday Man") on April 26, 1969. I worked SO HARD on this, trust me. It took me almost a month in completing this ! Mercy.....I'm falling for Mike's great vocals again. I didn't jump onboard til the '80s . Monkees reruns and 80s tunes cemented it. Prefab 4 MY ASS! This band is in a class all its own. Just listen. RIP sweet Knit Cap, my friend. Wish I knew you in person :( P.S. Michael was always my fav Monkee.

I love the monkees too much! They are the best! People keep on telling me, do you know this song by Katy Perry, or this one, or whatever, but I love the monkees too much as a band!
