I have 2 switches controlling the pendant light. Does that mean both of the switch live wires would go into a connector with the live?

Like everyone else I was blown away with the clarity of your instructions. I'd watched lots of others and failed to understand why our ceiling wiring is different and now it is crystal clear. I have a similar situation,2 ceiling lights,2 switches but one ceiling light has 4 wires. Stupid me hadnt seen the 4rth wire and i dont know what to do with it. Im changing the light fittings in a sitting room,the ones im taking off has a big metal box capable of taking everything inside it,now whoever did the installation used like a ceiling rose screwed to ceiling on top of the flat bar and that was ok. The fittings i have to put in are half the size of the one coming off so i have to identifie all wires and connet them properly and push them up the ceiling.only what do i do with the 4th wire 😰

One of your live wires in the 3 way connector looks to have burning?. The one near your switched live with the 90° bend. Can be seen when you pushed the 3 way out of the way.

You are an angel sent by heaven to help electricity noobs like me. I have the exact same setup as you, only my neutrals are black, even my light fitting connector block looks identical and I ordered the same clippy orange grey blocks from amazon. But whatever I tried my fuse box tripped. I will have been is despair the last two days, and the electrician is busy at the moment. I will try again using your video as a guide. Hopefully I will be victorious over the ceiling spaghetti monster 👹 🍝

Just going through the comments and great that 99% approve!!! But please be aware you are putting your life at risk!! Didn't confirm cables dead before touching them!! It's not just about flicking a labled switch and cracking on... don't learn the hard way. Get an electrician 🤷🏻

Thanks, seeing them separated in those connectors and then being wired into a new light made this make sense to me after watching 5 other videos lol.
