There will never be another Luther Vandross, Luther was a legend, but this guy is pretty good, he has the look, the sound and presence, and it's hard for me to say that about a person imitating my favorite male vocalist of all times, I'm very impressed with this guy!

The first time I heard this song, it was about 3AM, and I pulled the car over to give it my undivided attention. When it was over, I wondered if I really heard it right, could hardly believe it. Now this man has attempted to recreate the best performance I’ve ever heard, and does a great job of it. I’m aware that he spent years studying Luther, and now this is his music, and his performance, and I hope I hear that he is coming to a venue in SoCal, because I would like to hear him. Excellence!

I was about to promote Luther in concert at Radio City Music Hall for a Pay Per View special when he died. Seen him perform live often and this man is probably the best I’ve seen save Darwin Hobbs. There is a difference in covering a song and mimicking. He’s mimicking Luther and it’s not flattering to him nor Luther. He does have his own gift but he is NOT Luther. He needs to honor his genuine self. Luther would be honored if he stopped trying to mimic Luther.
