PSA KS47 Review & Dish Soap Camo Update
I'm just a subpar self-taught shooter, gun and camo enthusiast. Here is an honest review of PSA's KS47 gen 2 I have enjoyed shooting and improving for a couple years. I don't dive deep into the fine details and mechanics of this AK magazine fed AR. I do cover my opinions of running this hybrid AR, as well as covering the cheapish upgrades I have made to make this a smooth suppressor host, like PSA's adjustable gas block. The beginning of this video includes an update to my dish soap camo paint job I spray painted a year ago. Rattlecanned camouflage does not have to be boring or prone to light wear and tear.

Using an electric power washer to create a mandala pattern on a concrete patio. Besides being a very handy tool of many uses, power washers are dang fun to mess around with.

rubberbands does the same thing, isn't wet, and you don't need to rush hahah though i love the vreative thought. this has a few applications beyond what I can see rubberbands doing in the right circumstances - namely large flat surfaces I had never even though of that! I use heated glue guns because they come off so easy with a scalpel and won't scratch withn a bladed spatula but this seems better as i won't have to be so precise when removing. great work!
Excellent technique!..so far, the best ive seen....but....the crackhead music in the background had me fingernailing my chalkboard to counter the effects.....😂😂😂
I've been wanting to try this. But I can't find a big breasted shot glass 😅
One of the best I’ve seen 🤙
Would love to see you place that rifle on the ground in the elements to see how it looks up against everything. Looks good!
That looks really good!
Beautiful
That was a fast and cool video on how to, keep up the good work.
I used the bottle the dish liquid came in. Smaller stream but gave me good control. Nice paint job!
I have OCD and this would make my brain explode
Dawn dish soap has an industrial scent that persists for a long time. You will give up position with that smell.
Rad paint job n the cool jamz!
Yo this is an great idea💪🏿💪🏿
cool, other than the crappy music
Looks excellent sir
Looks awesome man
This looks great 👍
What your unemployed friend is doing on a Tuesday:
Can you do this on clothes?
What differences would you do for metal magazines?
@@kevinguthmiller8510 I don't do it differently with metal mags.
Important to note that, while drippy, micro-patterns aren't particularly effective. The human eye, assuming perfect or near perfect vision, can resolve ~1 inch at 100 yards. If your pattern is smaller than that, it's going to be ineffective by 100 yards.
Do you notice how stencil mesh background patterns make foreground colors pop and look 3 dimensional??? That is an amazing added benefit!! 🎉 Good Job! 🫡
Very good
Like it good job bro I like it.🔥💥✌️
Nice. That turned out super good. I just did something similar to my little .22 AR. Check out the video i have up of it finished.

Looks like shit....😂😂😂😂
Yeah looks good man!!
👍
Looks great! How long did you let the first/ base coat sit for?
Thank you! About 10 minutes.
My Schmidt two stage trigger works like a champ in mine and the trigger pull is only 3 lbs. Also for the price I would avoid the PSA adj gas blocks and go with an Aero Precision because it’s got a single screw for adjustment.
Communist multi cam is a fitting name for it. As much as I didn't want to, I like it. Well done.
Impressive!
Great videos i like your techniques
Shit!! Gotta try that with my hi point carbine. Cool!
...or just use blutac
Nice. 😎
That’s dope
I've been doing this for years... It looks way better than something done with stencils by far. Very easy to do. The soap will pool in some areas, so be mindful and use it sparingly. I use a good decreaser over rubbing alcohol. I would recommend using a big bottle and use a striping motion. Better results
Nice job. Definitely took ur tym with it and put some thought into. Well done
Really cool great professional look. Im starting a large camo strip on 40ft RV also using matte beach glass glad I got to see thes
Just watched this video and I'm impressed with that look.I think I'm going to paint one of my AR's similar to this using the dish soap.Once I get my nerve up lol Great job on that AR
Those hands tatts 😬
Yo what is this? Looks cool
I think it an gun
Holder
It's a glock brace stabilizer by recover tactical. Easy, fun and affordable pcc option
I they would make 12.5
Do you have any Yugo M70 mags to test with it? Most AK mags don’t have a last round bolt hold open but the Yugo mags have a special follower that holds the bolt open on the last round. When you remove the magazine the bolt drops but at least the gun lets you know when it is empty. Maybe M70 mags will lock this open too?
I don't have any of those mags, but I've tried different bho mags in my m70. They didn't work in my ks47 though.
So glad I can afford arsenal and not stuck with PSA
I didn't know Paul Dano was such a badass.
Hahaha I haven't heard that comparison yet, but I see it.
I will always know if my chamber is hot or not. What the hell ya doin man???
Not counting every round I shoot, and treating it as always hot while I'm using it.
@@SaveFace you treat any firearm as if it’s hot even if you know it’s not.
@@benstricker6462 well yeah, correct. I guess I don't know what your getting at with your first comment. How do you personally know if your chamber is hot or not running something like an ak? Besides, in relation to training, I kinda like not knowing and reacting to the click instead of running a reloading drill.
@@SaveFace well you never want to run a mag out even in combat if you can prevent it.
@@benstricker6462 if you can avoid it, yeah I agree with that.
Is 762 by 39 getting hard to find in your neck of the woods not so much here
Not sure about local supply, I source everything using ammoseek.com
Id rather have that than a 556 any day
Oh yeah
@@kellerfraley1627 that's why I said it
I'm almost there. Still more familiar with a trad ar15, but the 7.62 fits my use case better.
@@SaveFace I've always liked the ar platform better than the ak but ALWAYS have been more a fan of the 7.62 so this is like the best marriage lol
We have really large animals where I live so 556 would just make everything mad
