Yes, absolutely. You can not lift the engine without first disconnecting the mounts. On a W202 C230 this is very easy.

I just did the wire twist thing to get the car running. Basically the car thinks it’s in park .

sorry i havent seen your comment earlier , yes , in order to free up enough room for the oil pan to be remove , i needed to lift up the engine as much as i can . still need some persuasion to pull the oil pan out . i am sure there is a better and easier way to do it but i was just gunning it as i go . but.... it worked . XD

yes i did need to lift up the engine as much as i could , but i dont think that was the correct way to do it .Anyway it worked out ok for me .

It’s my first car , I don’t know much about fixing car either. When there is something wrong with the car , I will try to go online to find videos about how to fix it . And while making sure safety first , I just go and do it , sometimes I would make it worst before I can actually fix it , but by getting my hands dirty i actually learned something along the way . I do be enjoying it though, especially when I fixed the problems, the sense of accomplishment are worth all the struggles. So far I do all the basics Maintenance for my cars.

I got the castle mamba xlx esc with the 1717 motor . I was able to fit the xlx esc in the esc tray by taking out the capacitors that was soldered directly on the esc , than run some wire to put the capacitors somewhere else. The fans I got it's a 12v 500ma very powerful fans . I bought it years ago when I was in China, don't know what the name is . Same as the switch, just a very basic 6 pins switch I found in my box . And I also found a 6ohm resistor with aluminum case , I used it to make a anti-spark connector, works very well.

BIGGBULLxxx Ive been trying to find someone who has it and get some videos from them , but just couldn't, seem like not too popular in China , I see a lot people selling them after owning them a very short time . No one had ever filmed their cars which is quite frustrating. I guess maybe ... it's just not that fun except that it's very very big .

BIGGBULLxxx yes I will definitely upload them videos if I can find any , I am not in China as well , currently living in the U.S , just that I have RC chat groups but not many people are buying them .

罗代楠 ...i wonder why they are not buying them? and I really want one I'm leaving gasoline models to go to all brushless because the gas is to much maintenance. And my health isn't allowing me to work on the gas models as I use to. But what are your reasons no one is buying them? Thanks

BIGGBULLxxx the main reason I think is the price , second would be the size like I said I have already sold my losi five t and five B because it has been such a challenge to just moving them around. Every time I have to carry them up and down stairs. The batteries for the voltz it's also huge and you probably going need upgrades on your charging system.

RC Maxx UK I know this guy who is selling it on taobao , I don't know if he can ship internationally. They been out for awhile in China, but not really popular TBH , mainly because the cost ,and some people like me just tired of moving huge rc car around .

Visit the Arctic! Come to Yellowknife someday, I have one on the way. The sand pits here are one of the best non-desert bashing spots I've ever seen. Miles of sand with curved weathered rocks for air or ramps. =)
