We miss you.
Great that he found his songs as funny as we do.
He is the GOAT and he is still with us in his music lots of us here have no recording of our lost ones but i can here him when ever i want to. I think ofJohn playing for God and his angels and waiting for his reincarnation Hurry iam 74 mr Canada
John Prine was the bee's nuts. The man was a poet laureate of a generation no less than Bob Dylan. I mourn the loss of him.
By far one of my favorite song writers and performers, along with Kris Kristofferson and Neil Young. First two are gone only Neil remains.
the postman always rings twice
One can tell John was a beautiful soul
“… you change your mind for something else to do and your heart gets bored with your mind and it changes you.” Pure wisdom and genius.
So simple to be so fun to listen to
He puts words together that are interesting. Every song has a meaning to it. He’s one of the best.
Oh John a true artist---songs of life !
John was original to the core. Songs of life, saw many concerts and stood tall with applause to say "thank you"
What a lovely person. Really.
Does anyone remember John playing in Bloomington, indiana?
Love this
Prime Prine.
I just found out he smoked weed with T-Bone Pickins and noted others in the alley at The studio... Peace John.
plant alotta peaches...
Love ❤
Every time I need more positive things in my day I’ll listen to some John Prine songs. This clip is one of the ones on my list. He left us too soon but thank God for his words/music and videos, like this one filmed around the kitchen table. It Always makes me smile. RIP JP….❤
Lovely
who is the perm lady? and the other guitar player?
How come I'm never heard this one? This is so good
It’s on German Afternoons cd which is a great album
Thanks for the millions of memories you left us John.
Naked as the eyes of a clown ,deep
I need John Prines words, to help me see enough in the world, to just hang on and keep it as real as I can.
I've never heard that one before. I've been into J.P. for a long time now. Thank you for the upload! Best Wishes from Montana! M.H.
Absolute genius! A true original. God put John Prine on earth to write songs and make people think and be happy.
Du bist immer in meinem ❤❤❤

That's our John, a wonderful human being.
I miss them days
To be optimistic you have to have humility, to know you will get there just not necessarily in the current mind, to know you will be wrong many more times then you’ll be right. And may God help us for when we are wrong to have humility, and turn back to his grace.
I’m not a man that puts faith in god, just don’t believe, that’s all. But your word have a thread running through them, that I recognize as grace. That is something you have and you’ve shared here. Thank you
Who could not love John Prine? It’s unfortunate to the extreme that this narrative was interrupted by a tRump political ad. Mr. Prine’s basic themes were about the little guy and compassion for the same. I don’t know or really care who is responsible, but I just find it in very bad taste to advocate in an ad for a person who seems diametrically opposed to those concepts of love and respect for everyone.
What about a Trump political ad?
Will miss this man until the day I die ❤❤❤ Thanks for the music John
Neil Young was my favorite musician and song writer. John Prine comes in a very close second. I saw him playing in a bar in Lexington Ky. back in the 80's. A nice night of John Prine music. I know that Young and Prine were a lot different, but both could write songs and sing and play them in their own way.
Hello in there is my personal fav, I guess because I grew up in my grandparents house
Should be! I love this guy! No, not in a gay way, I just love his music!!!!!
Saw John Prince for the first time in 1980 and have loved him ever since. Saw him for the last time in Phoenix in 2012. Stood out side and waited to get an autograph for over an hour. Worth every minute. He was generous with his time and talked with us for a long time. A night I will forever treasure !! 😊🌠
He never sang a word I didn't believe.
I think id recognize John's acoustic anywhere. Almost as iconic as Willie Nelson's "trigger". Prine was the reason i was determined to learn Travis Picking.
Man, that camera man took want could have been an amazing compilati9n of footage and killed it! Things arr going and looking great, let's shake camera and move around. Let's block John's guitar playing by putting camera behind the backup guitar so all you can see is the back of that guitar. So much footage lost.
And that's Jim Rooney wearing the same adidas Stan Smith tennis shoes he still wears to this day.
Imagine watching you uncles old vhs tapes and finding this! Thanks for posting
Mondegreen is a word or phrase that results from a mishearing, especially of something recited or sung.
Great artist. Some may find it strange but I much prefer his voice the older he got right up to the last shows. My favorite performance is the one he did at Strombopoulos house, you can find it on TH-cam.
You look at all of them having fun and i say its like the family i wished i had-lol could you imagine being the girl there in the video between them playing-hahaha lol fun to imagine
Always loved him and thankful fir him , akways will ❤❤❤
Bought this DVD 15 yrs ago randomly out of a head shop in KC called it's a beautiful day. Money well spent
