I bet you he wrote a lot of these songs when he was higher than a kite.
❤
Thank you for uploading this! ❤
“ let’s went “
His life his music and his love for life and music God bless you brother From spooky
If I get to time travel when I die, I’ll go to my Grandma’s house in the 80’s during Christmas. And the next stop would be this kitchen with John. How great he sounds and plays here. Top notch brother John. Rest easy.
John Prine's death was a gut punch and a kick in the teeth at the same time. Hurts even more since I had spent some time with him and got to hang out with him outside of his music.. My wife passed exactly 4 years after him on the same date, April 7th. Been enjoying his music for over 50 years There will nnever be another like him.
No one comes close to john Prine.
Beautiful
There will never be another John Prine. This is so well written & words speaking truth spoken by John. My older brother turned me on to John Prine in 1975 I was 15 years old. He had a Camaro with an 8 Track Player. I learned the words to every song of his if I had heard it. He was "My Favorite Singer, Songwriter, Performer & Best Human" in my life time. He never was not on my list at anytime unlike most others. I also can not say " My Favorite John Prine Song is......". I can't just choose one. I won't apologize or make excuses as to why. I don't think John would ever question as to why if he were asked. It really wouldn't matter or change anything. Thru all my years of listening to John the only thing that changed on " My All Time Favorites list" was whether it was on Vinyl, 8Track, Cassette or CD. I am still schooling those that have not heard of him. Those that were schooled are continuing to school on John Prune. I am certain that there will be many years to come before or after his passing he will remain & known as "A National Treaure" standing longer than the test of time. It is the truth to & of my life with John Prine. That's good enough for me. My Heart Broke Into A Million Pieces when he passed. But I will always continue to listen & school any one that comes along that never heard of John Prine. RIP & Hope I Get To Smoke One With John in Heaven Too! P.B.F.H.
We need more comedy like this. "Say, you are built like rhe Hindenburg." "What's your name? Martin Bormann." etc.
John Prine… what a concept.
Sometimes you need two like buttons!! What a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend 59 minutes and 8 seconds 😊 - thank you Mr Prine
This is wonderful
Those of us with open hearts and minds don't need you. We listen to the music and get it. John Prine, we need. We don't your boring analysis.
A friend in 6th grade played the album Sweet Revenge that her older cousin brought over. We liked Dear Abby best at that age. A few years later i bought the album for myself. 1978.
Listen this all through and you will feel better. Guaranteed
This is the day after Phil died. I started watching this…, but I can’t today. At least not now. ❤😢 Much love all y’all
❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Does John remind anyone else of Roger Miller? Maybe that’s just me.
the vibe is incredible
Rachel Prine did a vid from a bar in Ireland. The song had something to do with a guy talking to the ocean. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THAT SONG IS CALLED????
can anyone source this video, is there more of this conversation?

I’m old
I’m paying my respects to John prime did not no he passed but have to pay my respects
Does anybody know who is singing with him? Looks like Rosemary Butler but I don’t know that they worked together.
Rachel. His wife, at that time.
Njohn love you saw you in Hanford 2 times
We miss you.
Great that he found his songs as funny as we do.
He is the GOAT and he is still with us in his music lots of us here have no recording of our lost ones but i can here him when ever i want to. I think ofJohn playing for God and his angels and waiting for his reincarnation Hurry iam 74 mr Canada
John Prine was the bee's nuts. The man was a poet laureate of a generation no less than Bob Dylan. I mourn the loss of him.
By far one of my favorite song writers and performers, along with Kris Kristofferson and Neil Young. First two are gone only Neil remains.
the postman always rings twice
One can tell John was a beautiful soul
“… you change your mind for something else to do and your heart gets bored with your mind and it changes you.” Pure wisdom and genius.
I have that quote tattooed.
So simple to be so fun to listen to
He puts words together that are interesting. Every song has a meaning to it. He’s one of the best.
Oh John a true artist---songs of life !
John was original to the core. Songs of life, saw many concerts and stood tall with applause to say "thank you"
What a lovely person. Really.
Does anyone remember John playing in Bloomington, indiana?
Love this
I just found out he smoked weed with T-Bone Pickins and noted others in the alley at The studio... Peace John.
