MPH? Nice.
Outlaw country!!!
Sorry for your loss. It’s never easy. Lost my husband the same way. There’s no shame in taking time for yourself.
freedom performance shar curve radius and big radius both are better then nvance and hines same style
how to check how much gas is in tank
Did you have a problems increasing the volume and accidentally hitting the throttle while riding?
I never used the music part of the bike sadly
😎👍
where did you get that front bag?
wallmart its just a fanny pack
The age old game of hack fork
BRO how did I get my 2024 to 144 yesterday?! I’m 190lbs as well
Also added roadrider led front and rear turn signals
I have the same 23 so far I have installed harly forward controls, sadllman step up seat , viking sissy bar, black harley davidson locking gas cap, cobra neighbor haters slip on exaust, next will be the Memphis shades road warrior fairing, and black headlight ring
Sounds like a great setup stay safe out there
I have a TBR 2-1 exhaust and for ergonomics a drag bar (for lower stance), Thunderbike rearsets, and a 1" rear lift kit for more play. Now I just need a tune so I can properly give it the juice!
That sounds awesome not gonna lie
I actually dig the bag on the frront. What bag is that? Just a fanny pack or something?
Yup it’s a basic Walmart fanny pack
A sportster s is a better and more expensive version of the bob...maybe you're talking about the pre 2023 sport s. They are both 114's and the sport has better parts. 883 iron is literally a girls bike, stick to crotch rockets.
The sportster S was never available with a 114 M8 if that’s what you’re saying and if you have spent any time on the two bike they are nothing alike.
Sounds nasty thinking about throwing those on my Bob. did you end up tuning it or just leaving it Bike looks great
I haven’t tuned it yet but I plan on real soon
I love it
Hey bro, I’m about to do the same while waiting for the friggin Rineharts to come in. So how did you do with them holes till you got your aftermarket pipes?
I just grabbed a drill and a drill bit and drilled into the pipes beside the actual exit in the exhaust
@@1250guy I bet they sound better: you feel loss of power?
@@diolagoudis9580 I did feel a loss of torque it wasn’t a crazy amount it would still do burnouts and spin the tire no problem but it felt a little under what I was used to so I plug the holes back up until I got the new exhaust if noise is all your after it wasn’t a bad idea but I was a little picky about it not gonna lie.
Sounds like shi*
Ehhh to each his own
In conclusion, you are nuts, you're dangerous, you ride like you have a death wish, uncool man, you keep up that kind of riding and you'll be dead soon, all busted up or in jail.
Thanks for the crazy speed, you better be careful, life is too short to go over 130 very often, not to lecture but your wriggling pass at 18:13 was a bit nuts, dude, I've been riding many many years, I've had more close calls than I want to mention, I thought I was invincible but after 31 years of riding my number came up in 2004, I was Riding a Yamaha R1, it and I were one but I stupidly crashed on a side street doing 70 in a 25, a car did a fkn left turn in front of me and it was lights out. The bike ended up okay but I was fked up, broken a lot of bones, 8 months of healing and another 5 months of rehabilitation, never trust cagers. The pass you made at 18:13 could have been your last had that Hummer changed lanes or hammered the brakes. Good luck, stay alive, life is much better when you're alive. Just one question, aren't there any cops around where you're riding? You rode a long distance at high speeds, don't you worry about getting pulled over? Update: I watched to the end, dude, you're nuts, driving like that and passing like you are you're gonna get busted soon or killed, you need to back off, grow up and drive like you have some sense in your head. It's riders like you that really piss off the cagers and make us look bad, I'm surprised one of the drivers didn't call the state patrol on you. Wow, that's just reckless and crazy riding. I used to watch this guy on TH-cam, he had a Low Rider S and he drove like a maniac then all of a sudden he didn't post anymore, I think he either had a really bad crash or he died, I hope he's okay...
I appreciate the comment and the fact that you even care enough to say something and I don’t ride crazy that much and there is plenty of videos of me doing trips or tips where I ride normal but you are not wrong thanks for the concern and comment I don’t really plan on making videos like this anymore tbh and again thanks i appreciate the comment
For another perspective about the cruiser side of the bike, me and my buddy did 1800 km in 3 days was not bad at all was getting around 200km a tank (in sport mode) mostly cruising at 4-4.5 rpm @120kmh but that's where the rev max likes it ...Got the 2021 Harley Davidson Sportster S and I sold my sport bikes for it absolutely love it! Its comfortable and got speed/torque the best if both worlds! Great video 👍
Thanks I appreciate it
First, I'm replacing the stop light and blinkers, problem solved, next, lol..fuel mileage?, seriously? it's basically a sport bike to romp around town and raise a little hell, I bought it for speed and comfort, the fuel and what it cost means nothing to me, next, the seat, I replaced it with a corbin seat, love it, next, the foot controls, I changed mine to mid controls, next, aftermarket parts, I'm patient, while I wait I'll ride one of my other two bikes. . I just love the 1250 engine, the 121 horsepower and the myriad of gadgets. I also replaced the gas cap with a locking gas cap. Thanks for the video and your honest comments, stay safe, Peace.
I think gas mileage only really matters for more range I would say is what I think he means but I agree with what you are saying
thanks ,, this is what i was wanting to do to mine , - just to let a bit of pressure out and a little bit more sound ;;; well done for going back to college , you won't regret it if you stick to it ;;;
I’m glad I could help and you’re definitely right .
Sport mode should be called super Cruise on a cruiser.
Take a inner tube from a bicycle tire and glue it on there. Electrical tape will wear out sooner or later.
That’s a great idea it would definitely last longer for sure.
HaHa, I'm getting this bike tomorrow, I hit 70 four months ago and I still love to pull back the throttle and fly!! I have a Honda CB1100, it's a retro bike to resemble the 1970's CB750, love it, it's in perfect condition with only 800 miles on it, I know it's not for long trips but I'm going to set it up for short 300 mile stints. I had a 2022 Fatboy but some vermin clown stole it from my driveway, unbelievable amount of dirt bags out there today. Anyway, back to the Sportster S, I am so pumped to get this bike, I love everything about it, I like the sitting position, I love the new Revolution Max 1250 engine, it kicks ass and I also love that it's water cooled. Yeah, I like crusin but I also love ratting around on a sportbike, I miss my R1. The advanced controls and new technology are wonderful and it's about time Harley went outside the box and created an entirely new machine, I understand the Sportster S will do 140 mph and I plan to find out. I'm going to change out the seat for something more comfortable but stylish and sporty looking, no old man ugly crap, I'll get the heated grips installed, and whatever cool toys are available. I'm researching helmets and probably getting the Arai Corsair-X, I'll get the JBL speakers installed and bluetooth for phone communication, I've got the new GoPro Hero Max Black and the Max Lens Mod 2.0, getting it installed on the right rear of my helmet. I may be growing older but I refuse to grow up, he who dies with the most toys wins. Thanks for the video and review, fun to watch you riding, good comments, new subscriber, ride on brother and be careful, the cagers are after us. Peace!
my 2023 FXST Has a fuel gauge and so does my 2018 Kawasaki Zed 900 naked sport plus the Kawasaki has a locking gas cap which I have to purchase for my FXST. MY HARLEY IS A WORK IN PROGRESS.. got the 119 C.I. screamin' eagle stage 3 UPGRADE and drag bars. THANKFULLY the FXST has MID CONTROLS. stay in the wind.
thank you I was thinking of getting one of these so I went to my dealer to sit on one and was confused about the forward controls. it would be much better mid or even better rear mount. Harley does sell a kit to mount them properly... of course for more money and you must understand rerouting the rear brake line which is dicey if you never did this on ab ABS system. thanks for the share.
No problem I’m glad the video helped
I think if it this way, it’s a sport bike that has performance comparable to a 600, but insurance is less than 100 if you have a good record. I’m 20 and my insurance is 56 a month
That’s way cheaper than mine was that’s a killer deal hahaha and your not wrong just a little adjusting and the bike is mabye even better than a sport bike.
Harley, make the Bronx. Seriously, just make it.
You might want to check your speed on the sportster s
For ?
@@1250guy I believe you should be able to get to 140 no problem
nice choppa, get some good gloves please brotha
Thanks I appreciate it and soon I will have some no doubt thanks for the comment they are much appreciated.
@@1250guy bet bro ride safeee
@@1250guy do you know how I can lose up my front brake lever on handle bars. It is extremely sensitive n tight. As soon as I barely touch the front tire like locks up. Idk if I made it tight or what because I did change levers on it yesterday
The Sportster S is the most uncomfortable bike I've ever ridden. They need to put the 1250 into the Nightster chassis.
I can completely agree with you especially after riding an actual sport bike and that would be a killer bike tbh.
Cops do too
Hey what did the acorn do to you bro
Let's just pray he doesn't decide to pursue a career in law enforcement. 😅
Have you done any research into getting pan am horsepower on your S ?
I actually got rid of the bike but in all honesty I think a simple tune with a air cleaner and pipes would get you there but when I had it there was no tuner u could buy without voiding the warranty on the bike
From watching the baffle removal video's I can see the middle tube is smaller than the baffle which makes me believe the middle tube is a DB Reducer, if you drill around that tube you'll take it out, you'll end up with a normal exhaust. I'll have to try it.
Sounds way better. Not the hollow sound when the baffles are cut out. I did the same thing to a Yamaha Venture and it made a difference.. My Lowrider ST sounds like a sewing machine stock ! The slip ons are $1000 plus for my bike !! I’ll be doing this mod as well. Four small holes won’t make any power difference. Thanks for the video.
I’m glad you found the video helpful hopefully you got what ya wanted out of the stock pipes .
I've been riding Harleys for a few decades and what Harley is good at doing they do well. But this particular bike seems like there are better choices in that same price range. If I was looking for a bike like that I would probably go with Indian scout rogue 60 or Honda Rebel.
The stock seat sux!
Nice set up. Love the bike.
Thanks I appreciate it
Also, it took me a long time to learn this, if you push the home button for a few seconds, you can toggle from day and night screen display.
Thats awesome to hear thanks for adding in the comment is much appreciated
2024 Harley is for Granny now they cant go over 100 mph hahaha my Vespa is faster
Im one comfortable granny for the minute then hahahaha thanks for the comment they are much appreciated
@@1250guy ride on
Fellow Oklahoma TH-camr here. Thanks for the video. May pick one of these up tomorrow.
no problem glad to be of some help
Got a non-related m/c question. What Mic are you using?! I'm struggling with pops & cracks from mine. Just got a new GoPro 11. Thanks.
the giant squid mic is a great mic. I also have the front chin vent blocked with painters tape. preventing as much air as u can from hitting the mic will help tons with the pops and cracks u can also put painters tape around the bottom of the mic to stop air that comes up from underneath the helmet from hitting the mic and make sure to have your mics foam pop filter or i think they call it a wind screen as well its just that foam ball that goes over it hope that helps.
What in the world are you talking about ? The sportster s and all other sporsters were made for cornering and to be sporty, Hints the sportster name. Iv also driven both and to say it’s not capable of moving ? It’s the lighter than the bike your on. The front tire and lean angle is better than the 114 as well. Terrible review. Top speed is 141 on the 114 and 143 mph on the sportster s. Hate when people have zero idea what they are talking about.
can u cry any louder for the people in the back the bike moves like a slug because of the tire up front anyone who has ridden it will tell you that and it sounds to me like you have not spent any time on either of the bikes so what would you know about how they handle lol all in all terrible comment I hate it when people think they know everything
Bike sounds great. 👍
thanks it's an upgrade to say the least.
Man that bike sounds badass!
thanks I appreciate the comment.
