@@SteelCityAlarms prob worse than i9040s, the FG200 is so shit you only threw it gently and it shattered

@@doozy435 The i9040 is actually good based on my tests and experience. Had one installed in one of my old houses and had no problems with it. Instant response when smoke tested as well

How did u no know about these? These units are classics.

They had the 941 and 929, and 929 used the 12.6v battery, and the 941, as seen here, uses a linecord.

@@doozy435Ah, must be an early version. Also, that seems to always happen on those 5th gen KN-COSM-B’s (2010 types) based on my experience. I tried smoke testing it when the button failed and no response. Due to that, I ended up replacing that one KN-COSM-B in the basement with a 2007 type KN-COSM-B (4th gen) back in May and it’s been working since.

@@SteelCityAlarms that’s scary to think, I guess that’s why they released the 5.5 version which is the one with the new battery contacts, the yellow manufacture date and reverse UL listed sticker

@@doozy435 That’s probably the case. Isn’t that the 6th and final generation?

@@SteelCityAlarms idk, it’s really difficult for me to put it as either the 5.5th generation or the 6th generation, it’s a similar case to the 3rd version of the KN COSM B; the one with the different test button since the prototype version had the original nighthawk version voice, before it had the “2007” voice, with the final version having a similar test like the 4th generation Bs

I was so mad when that happened. I ended up leaving negative feedback against the seller

I believe so. It’s still the loudest piezo unit I have that’s for sure.

@@SteelCityAlarms I just saw something rather weird, a KN COSM IB within clam shell packaging, it’s similar to how KN COPE ICs are either shipped in the cardboard package or clam shell packaging
