I supplied a load of weird artefacts to Mr. Duman in the late 70’s. On one occasion he gathered all the staff together and asked me to give them a talk on my work in film special effects. He then very generously gave me a very nice bottle of good malt whisky for my troubles. He was quite a chanter, but a real gentleman.

a logical expansion to the setup: The water inside the upside-down tank, being part of the entire culture, needs to be included in the water filtering setup. Mount a water-sucking tube in, say, the mansion, to draw water from the water tower environ, and the output of the powered water filter is placed out in the main tank. Of course the pump is one for moving water, not an air-pump. Also, an airpump won't be strong enough for someone's suggestion as a means to provide a venturi effect for drawing air out of the tower to raise the level in the first instance. Employing the upper reaches of the tower for mounting the suction tube, for the filter pump, also provides the means of allowing that upper body of water to be circulated with the main tank, enabling the mixing of healthy water to be drawn back into the tower to replace what's been drawn out, helping the fish to remain (alive and health oxygen-wise) inside the tower long term.

I own this and have no problems, but from what I read is they haven't released a new version In over three years, so I think its a cheap program to buy but I'm going to try phoenix next, I'm running three monitors and want a company that's still alive to fix bugs and release new stuff once in a while.

Ok for a start the hatches should be on the top but it don't matter a lot. Your first problem is you are letting air into the bridge that is the main problem. Think Air Lock you need a valve before the valve you have on. You will open the outer valve and place food in. Then close the outer valve. You then open the inner valve to allow food into water. Its a very simple engineering fix. Hope this helps you out

Great...I have been waiting a long while now to re activate my Clearview Sim, because I have a new computer and do not know how to install it on my new computer... My old one is trash and I can not deactivate it on that one...? So I am waiting on instructions on how to re install it... Even if I bought a New License it would do the same thing...plus I do not want to buy a new License... This Stinks... If you have any suggestions that would be cool...if not totally understand...

The computer fans create static, but they are already in contact with the grounded case of the computer. Again, they share the same ground. The static doesn't travel through the air. The danger is getting the vacuum hose, or air nozzle to close to the electronics. The hose or nozzle contain the charge. Granted static isn't as big of a danger as people think, it is still there. It is a lot of luck! Do you want to take a chance at killing your out of warranty $1200 computer?

The computer fans work differently. First of all they dont have any where near as much power or air go through them. A computer fan = .1 watt 20cfm of air. Vacuum usually = 1600 watts, 200cfm of air. Secondly, the computer fans are connected to the same electronics. They all share the same ground. If you mount your vacuum inside your computer case and run it off the same power cord then you probably wouldn't have to worry about it.

With a fucking can of air and a vacuum, and keep the vacuum away from the electronic components. Vacuum generates static, and can suck up parts too. Can of air doesn't generate static because it isn't run with anything electric, and it won't damage components for obvious reasons. Or if you do not want to buy a cans of air, a natural bristle brush will work too, combined again with a vacuum. (Synthetic brush's can generate static from the bristles rubbing together).

I use an old refrigerant bottle to suck oil out of compressors! Only thing i would worry about is corrosion inside it but that work be the same for a normal air tank.

if you pump air into unlined metal tanks, the higher pressure with humidity causes the uncoated steel tanks to rust inside to the point they will explode, one guy lost his nuts filling a freon tank with air to inflate a car tire. His wife sued the tank mfg. and freon company.
