I just rediscovered this show from my childhood and started watching it again today. Crazy to see theres a game in development, thats also being streamed! And this is really helpful too as I started learning blender recently! Thanks for sharing

I was remembering oban and how much it impacted me and how much I wished for a game of the series back then, I wish I could support this in any way since it was so long ago of the series hope it can reel in new fans

I randomly remembered oban star racers, i loved it as a kid and i'm binge watching it! I hope we get to see this game soon, i know i'll totally love it!

Damn, I fell in love by seeing this. Toros is my favorite pilot and his Trident is my favorite ship. The attention to the small details is unbelievable! Also, the Whizzing Arrow looks gorgeous too! <3

Sorry for technical difficulties gotta fix my softwares. I plan on this being a passion project being fan made. I am wanting to show development like I did Oban Dreams. On the Oban Fan Discord and Sky Isle Community Discord when I get to good moments I’ll be letting everyone be able to play test it as it develops. I am doing this on my free time. I also plan on compensating assets and textures that were made on Alwas for the devs. Hope you enjoy my approach moving forward 💕🐱

I can hear the sound! And now I'm just realizing that the enemies that you can kill with bubbles all happen to be very sharp, aka, things that can pop bubbles lol. And I like the whirlpool effect! Since it acts more like a black hole, maybe it just zips Squishy into the Z dimension (as opposed to the X and Y dimensions she lives in). Overall, the game's looking and sounding better! Edit: Even Eels are no match against the bubbles? What are those bubbles made of?!

When do u realize the game

Great to see you back. Remember some years ago, seems like yesterday! We were discussing how good the GPS XD plus could emulate! And you were just about starting making a game shortly after :)

Differentiating the pink and the purple jellyfish would be helpful. Even while watching the gameplay, it was hard for me to tell the difference between them. And for ideas about obstacles, what about a fishing net or a fishing hook once higher levels are reached? The character is a fish after all, and irl fish have to deal with fishermen and pollution. And I might be mistaken, but don't the pink jelly and the bubble powerup serve the same function? Maybe the bubble powerup could be a shield.

Planning to add the following features. Thinking switching two sprites purple and pink jellyfish to something unique to help color blind people and to add more visual appeal. Adding a dropping anchor to dodge. Two new enemies one is a Eel that will electrocute the player switching controls briefly, second enemy is a squid that will briefly blind the player. I also really love the golden fish in ponyo maybe I can do something similar for a super jump. Notes All updates to the game will be free. No micro transactions, no loot boxes, no in game purchases, no advertising in game. Those things annoy me and will not be allowed to be in my games. I plan to enjoy playing what I love to create and want something relaxing to play. If you have any suggestions for Squishy Jump please let me know. I might be able to sneak it in if it’s not to complicated 💕
