This movie hit home. My Dad was one of those guys. He ran a trapline in the Cariboo for 40 years. The first 20 on snowshoes, then got a double track Ski-Doo in 1960.

He says wildlife is disappearing and yet he is shooting game birds with a shot gun, lead or steel I don't know but if lead shot he is killing predators by injecting lead. This whole series reminds me of Walt Disney fake outdoor BS. Make believe feel good old fashion Entertaiment.

HOW IS THIS HERE IN SUCH QUALITY?? Bless whoever put this here. 😭😭 This brought back so many childhood memories. My brother is Autistic and was (and still is) obsessed with prehistoric docs. This series was a main staple of everyday life so much so that I can almost recite the whole thing word for word. I'll be watching this on repeat for the next week. 😂❤

I watched this doc more than a dozen times during my childhood after my father gave it to me on dvd, dubbed in German. Had a really deep impact on me and really made me love the deep sea and I specially loved the concept and the creepy ending!

I saw a moose skinned , its body still steaming, the hunters standing around it. An hour earlier , that moose was nibbling leaves, chewing on reeds . Cured me of hunting.

the guy is incredibly reckless with his canoe. A wonder it still floats. Did he walk that canoe up the rapids, up the incline? I doubt it. a bark canoe weighs a ton.
