Birdi itself is drone-agnostic (i.e. we accept data captured from any drone), but we do have a few articles written about this - plus we recommend doing further research into different drones as well. Can we use Birdi for 3D photogrammetry using our underwater drone
Ooh interesting! We haven't visualized that sort of dataset before, but you're welcome to give it a try in our platform.
So how do I create the image of where I want to map for instance? Where I currently live there is a second phase of my village being developed. I just want to take weekly pictures of the construction site for personal use as I practice with my three drones. I want to hone in on some solid flying skills whilst taking many pictures of what is going on. I have permission to do this from the construction company as well. Again, it is all practice. Once I have my part 107 license, then I will take it to the next level. Please reply.
Hey @rogerhummel3023 ! Sounds like a great place to practice your drone data capture. If you're looking to take weekly images of the construction site and then turn them into orthophotos to compare the progress (where they're stitched together into like a top-down model), you can easily do that within Birdi. I'd recommend heading to our website and requesting Birdi platform access www.birdi.io/get-access , then joining one of our one-on-one onboarding sessions and Kayley on our team will show you the steps.
Can it be implemented into Autocad for example? If so, can it be done via share?
Hi @dogglas7996! We don’t currently have a direct integration, but we provide various file types such as geoTIFFs, shapefiles and DXFs that you can download and import into other platforms.
