The advantages and benefits of a pre-listing inspection for sellers
มุมมอง 2032 ปีที่แล้ว
In a balanced or buyer's market, most offers will have a subject to home inspection. Knowing ahead of time what the buyer inspector will find allows the seller to make some repairs that otherwise could kill the deal and trigger renegotiation. Leaks, mold, pest activity, are some of the biggest deal killers and could be all dealt prior to receiving an offer. If the home happens to be in great co...
How to Fix Noisy Downspouts
มุมมอง 29K2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video. Im wondering if you would be kibd enough to answer a question about foundation drains in general. No matter what material is used, why do they not install clean-outs? Or at least pipe the downspouts into the drain to wash it out and then put clean-outs in them,,?? Im having a problem with mine that i shouldn't be having. Hydro washer can't turn a corner.

    • @InspectCanada
      @InspectCanada 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, thank you for watching our video. I'm not sure when they started but all new construction have multiple clean out. Also many older place don't have a sump making it even harder to clean. If they can't make the corner, they might have to dig that location to restart from there. If there is not sump, the often have to dig a pit to clean the drain. The best is that when it's finally cleaned, add filters to your downspout to prevent any debris from going in. Hope it helps.

    You should never leave exposed wire (whether low volt or high volt) after you've inserted it into the wire connectors. Cut wire shorter so that the insulation comes all the way up to the outside of the connector. This will not just avoid any shorts but also look more professional.

Also, sawing off a piece of pipe while rocking and grasping the drain pipe of the other sink, wow.
