    30 May 2024: Kudos! - for a very articulate narrative about the creative process of an artistic giant of our age … this series is an attempt at documenting a thesis of David Bowie’s creation of a musical album at a particularly poignant period of his life … interestingly, Bowie himself did not wish to interpret the meaning of his songs … he left it to his listeners (particularly his devoted following of fans from across the ages & continents) to engage on their idea of what each song portrayed … his life was clearly a rich tapestry of emotions & characters spread over a period … from disheveled growth towards a conformity as he reached out to stability in his maturing years … What a life! What a story!! What a man!!! He was NOT a prophet! He was NOT a stone-age man!! But he was a mortal who sought & realized his potential to be a Superman!!! For THAT, he will be immortalized. 🤩

    Give credit to David's personal assistant and close friend Coco Schwab for getting him out of from LA and coke. David wrote the song 'Never let me down' for Coco, she helped save his life and Iggy's too.

    No, S2S was NOT seen as a bridge from his glam rock era to the Berlin Trilogy, not at ALL. Diamond Dogs represented the death of glam rock, with 1984 a funky precursor to Young Americans, David's foray into R&B and Soul, or White Soul, as he called it. S2S was the bridge between the soul of YA to the electronics of Low, et al. OKAY, this is shit. The background music is too loud and drowns out whatever you're trying to say at 1:31 to 1:34, and no, nothing "marred" the Isolar Tour. I saw that show in L.A. in '76 and it was FANTASTIC. I'm done with your bullshit video. Get your facts straight.

    Music far too loud man while the “poetic historical narration” just far too much for 8 mins of the 24. Then you describe the album (in your opinion) rather than providing a “documentary” of the making of the album. Sorry, but with theloud music and all of this descriptive stuff from your point of view, it just became a bore.

      @anthonysallis 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MarkDarnell-cq2wy I've been listening to the audio of Bowie's Live in Nassau Coliseum in '76 - it truly is staggering radiance in so many aspects, from a 29 year old. And that is without anything from the even more adored Low and beyond. Few could equal the wattage of that. Then there's his 50th party (in Boston? I think, on YT) where he does Queen B with Lou Reed (it's a good 'un) and I'm sure Lou cannot believe the way this guy goes, the camera catches a little look he gives Bowie as he's bobbing up and down, as if wtf! (yea yeah we know, that stuff from Bolivia, and yet . . ) But love Hammil's music, the unique turn of chord or melody - pity it's not better recorded - but goosebump stuff in parts. The Black Room.

    The fall of the Berlin Wall generated no similar moves or equal concessions from a NATO interested in an end to the Cold War. …. The CIA, Zionist, EU support for Nationalist Nazis in Ukraine, land-resource grab and Eastward expansion will now create another Berlin Wall in the nuclear dust that will be left after Pentagon NATO aggression and false flag events will create WW3 this May 2024 … you heard it here first. Time for UK to leave NATO, remove crazy nutter Dr Strangelove U.S. military forces, shut bases and remove nuclear missiles from UK soil. F. The BBC version of events….. Bowie’s music resonates today … because the West and EU moved backwards into FASCISM … became the GDR.
