Their food is good but it has gotten out of control expensive. For a family of four to go and each have a burger and share a few fries you're looking at 50 to 60 bucks which is outrageous for fast food.

Pressing down the burgers is bad cause they loose their juices but it makes them cook faster, I guess thats what is needed in a fast food joint.

Is this a great job to get if let’s say I was considering starting a vending service featuring hot dogs and hamburgers? Figure it is but would rather hear feedback. I already work full time but figured a part time job at five guys would be both good for experience and some free spending money

You are really slow and miss out on speeding up the orders, but keep practicing!

Steam that cheese my boy ! Keep a squeeze bottle of water next to the grill give it a little squirt on top of the cheese and let the steam melt it The presentation is 10 times better takes about 10 seconds extra.

Food service is really fun for one or two hours a shift. The rest of it and the pay is pretty depressing though
