Thanks for that info. We were on deck 14 and when we have to go to Horizon main dining room on deck 7, we always have to walk through the cabin hallways. Same thing for going to buffet on deck 9.

@@FunLYfe-FLYTES , we are going to be on deck 14 too (midship). I will be checking various "navigation" options. I think, there is a difference between walking some distance from the cabin to the dining vs. trying to get from one end of the ship to the other end. The big vertical information displays will show you the suggested route when you select the destination. I guess, the same information must be available on TV sets in the cabins. I saw a documentary for MSC cruise ship. The ship had a super long corridor for the crew, so they could access any part of the ship.

Is this gonna be your first cruise on Sun P? It's nice You've done lots of research before your cruise. I loved our location on deck 14, it was close to the elevator and was also close to the laundryroom which we've never been able to use 😀 I had to do some laundry manually. Have fun on your cruise.

@@FunLYfe-FLYTES , thank you. Yes , it will be the first, and likely the last. I was initially thinking about the Celebrity Edge (based on Emma's review), but then I discovered this new ship. The cruise is primarily for my family (three people); I hope they will like it much more than I will. When I booked the cruise, the best locations were already "sold out" (reserved). I managed to book two cabins on "deck 14" (actually 13) not too far away from each other. Side by side cabins would have been nice. I probably spent too much time planning this trip, but is very complicated including the before and after stays on the land.

@@FunLYfe-FLYTES , the laundry room idea is odd. There are currently two washing machines for the whole deck.

I totally agree. Rome is too dangerous (many thieves) to walk around with luggage. I will be in Rome (with some relatives) for about three days after the Sun Princess cruise later this year. For long words or names (of any kind), it is helpful to break them in your mind into two or even three parts.

We didn't purchase any SPA activity but I remember getting an email from Princess reminding us to book SPA and also it in the app a couple of weeks before our cruise. May be you'll see it also a couple of weeks before your cruise but I'm not really sure.

@@FunLYfe-FLYTES , you are welcome. You can ask the kitchen manager for the Eatery. I would be very surprised if they had a separate water supply for cooking and making drinks. The water supplied to all the showers must be very clean.

@@FunLYfe-FLYTES , do you know maybe prices for the Sanctuary area (half day / full day). Nobody is answering this question (many people asked in comments for other YT videos).

We unintentionally got to the Sanctuary when we used the end elevator from the infinity pool. We were told it cost $79 to $99 but I didn't ask for details. We were allowed to walk around except for the private area. I must say the Discovery Princess Sanctuary looks better and more spacious than Sun. We'll be in whole day tour in Naples today and walking off early tomorrow for disembarkation so I may not have a chance to ask more details but we'll see.

Hi idreamcaster. I haven't seen Fiji bottles. It seems they may do local bottled water from the port. When we were in Athens, they delivered our 2nd 24 bottles of water we ordered (out of 60 ordered) and the brand is Samaria and it says "The water of Cretan white mountains." They tastes fresh. The first 24 round of water was Frasassi Acqua Minerale (good thing I still have last bottle 😊) I assume it's from Barcelona where we started our cruise. I'll post here when we get to the 3rd and last round of our 60 order of bottled water. 60 bottles is way too much for two people. I think 48 bottles is plenty for 2 guests. Hi Angela. I think you might be referring to the Sanctuary? We passed by there a couple of days ago and was told it costs $77 to $99 to use The Sanctuary.

Not sure what the enclave pass is. We passed by the Sanctuary in my other Video walk through of Sanctuary and Park 19. Sanctuary they said is $79 to $99 per person per day. Hope this helps.

Hi Leo. I can confirm that the menu at The Eatery buffet is the same everyday. However, you can always go to Horizon Decks 6 to 8 for breakfast to dinner if you get tired of buffet. They are all included in your reservation and the menu changes everyday and the ambiance is much better and relaxing with a pianist playing great music pieces ❤. Yes, there are other options as you recommended but I see 2 problems (my own POV): (1) The Royal class ships changed their menu at lunch / dinner every day so this is a step BACKWARDS since this is all about COST CUTTING. (2) I know this may sound extreme but I am a big eater and I ALWAYS eat BOTH in the MDR for dinner (multiple entres / appetizers) AND the buffet EACH evening because of the VARIETY!! The only option I have is to eat at the MDR twice in one evening (which I have done in the past on occassion and sometimes I use to get confused looks from the hostess...LOL). I hope you are enjoying your cruise!!

Hi Leo. I totally agree with you on the cost cutting efforts of Princess but not only that they are also trying to generate more revenues by increasing the prices of specialty dining. I Member Sabatini was only $25 when we took the Disccovery Cruise last year. Now all of them are $45 per person, for Crown, Catch and Butcher specifically. Alfred's pizza place is now Alacarte. In spite of all these, YES. We are enjoying our cruise. Thanks for your comments.

Hi Sarah. They always provide water in The Eatery (buffet) and other restaurants. They may not refill your water bottle because the staff may not have time to satisfy refill requests. They have a pitcher of water on each table. Perhaps you can use that to refill your bottle. I've just posted a breakfast buffet video. Hope that helps. Thanks.

The small packages are a bit hidden in the app, You need to select Packages, then menu (top right corner), then Beverage

I agree with @cerullio. It took me a while to remember where I found the small packages. I had to log into the Princess website to find the.

The one time fee is only if you don’t have one of the 2 packages

@@Dm-wf5ro , she did not buy the comprehensive packages. FYI, some people think you have to get at least the Plus package to get the Medallion service.

Hello. Yes, that's right, we didn't buy the drink package and bought only 60 bottled water for $35 and 18 soda cans also for $35. You won't see these in the app. I found them on the website and I wondered if those were a glitch but they weren't. It was a good deal and that's all we need. Hope you'll find them too if you're on a budget and don't wanna buy the drink packages.
