Dont clean them like this inside. The Chrome inside just vanished from my original Black Hella lights. Looks shit now and cannot be repaired

The irony is that you can actually take the wheel of the cv side apart. Carefully take the boot and connecting metal shroud plate the same way as the diff side.

I rebuilt mine, threw em back in and now it's straight up DUMPING fuel. Drowning the engine out completely

Pro-tip -- while the manifold is disassembled, you can get ALL of the yellowed cosmoline off by using Aircraft Stripper. It's available in aerosol at most any auto parts stores. Clean/dry, then shoot down the top, let it work for 10 or 15, hose off. It will look like a brand new freshly cast intake. I've done a few. Don't get any on your skin..

Hi Thanks for a great video. I was wondering if you knew how to depin the door side connector that you show at 1:59 - I am having some issues with my power mirrors and I suspect the female side of the connector has been pushed back in the plastic connector and I would like to pull the female socket out of the connector clean it and put it back in but I have yet to find out what tool I need. Thanks in advance!!! Knut

Should I change the tie rod shaft?

Thank you for your video. I was about to destroy my good used axle thinking I needed to remove the outer joint. Was about to force off that inner ring where you pack the outer boot. Watched literally every video about bmw boots on youtube and only yours was an exact match. Was seconds away from destroying a piece you couldnt replace!
