Only disagree with Cybertron but rest are solid

Megatrons fusion cannon is a great choice for number 1. A truly iconic boomstick. Can't help but feel an element of bias got Predakings sword in there though 😉

This convo begins and ends with Megatron's fusion cannon, but I'd also throw in Fort Max's Master Sword (if you follow the Japanese continuity). For a slight curveball I'd add 'The Seacons' seeing as one of them literally becomes the main weapon for Piranacon - but that is a bit of a stretch I'll concede...

As a child at the time, Dark Awakening was absolutely horrifying. It was unlike anything in TF so far, much worse than TFTM. And yes, the Ratchet/Megs cyborg was just... brutal. I remember thinking as a child, "this is a bit rough".

Some good choices mate. I really like the axe that came with Siege Optimus Prime, Kingdom Optimus Primal's swords and SS86 Wreck-gar's spinning axe. 👍

It always struck me that on the tech specs of the G1 toys there was often a detailed description of what a particular character's weapon did, but that we never saw (animated or comic) this being used. Generic "laser guns" prevailed. I suppose Starscream had his null ray in MTMTE, but the freezing guns, electro cannons and goo blasters never really featured.

I thought I liked Zeta's take on Superion until seeing the comparison. FansToys blows Zeta out of the park in every way in terms of design aesthetic.

I feel like Starscream would be less overt in his desire to take over, if Soundwave was in charge. Admittedly this is just gut feeling and not based in amything, but there we go.

To be fair the kibble forming flight stands is a very nice touch. Really lovely end result and Silverbolt being a cube is totally worth it!

The head on the fanstoys superion is awesome but 3 times the price of the zeta is hard to justify. Personally hoping zeta comes out with an even more premium version over their metallic. That zeta bruticus is a pretty amazing figure for around 360. Visually, it looks just as premium as the fanstoys.

I've always been a big fan of Soundwave, and I really like your video. I have some alternative possibilities though: First, I think Shockwave and Soundwave are both logical enough that they would leave power struggles until after the Decepticons had won the war, or at least until a stage where a conflict between them wouldn't endanger their side's dominance. Second, when it comes to Autobot City, I think that knowing the Autobots wanted to retake Cybertron, the logical step would be to take them out while they were vulnerable, so I suspect the attack would have gone forward, as long as they had the strength for it (after all, Megatron is a huge source of power for the 'cons, so him not being around at all means they've lost a lot of punch). Third, the cartoon and original comic didn't really have that 'You are being deceived' background of the Decepticons rising up against the Autobot rule, they were more into conquest in order to secure more resources for their race, so Soundwave might be more focused on destroying (or at least neutralising) the Autobots than you suggest. I definitely agree that Soundwave would accept a ceasefire in order to fight a bigger foe though. In the UK run of the original comics, when Soundwave actually was in charge of the 'cons in a future timeline, he did just that when the Quintessons tried to destroy both factions. For a moment he even genuinely considered a permanent peace between the factions until he realised there was too much bad blood between Autobots and Deceptions for a peace to last.

FYI viper has the tabs at the plane thrusters that hook into the side of the cockpit half. Also goose has a part of the linkage for the plane that locks in between the legs that solidifies his backpack and the stabilizer rear wings are wrong. The antenna flip around so the black bottom is forward for the toon look. I personally like the chest wings too but they do hinder some articulation.

Fanstoys missed a step on the gun for mounting Silverbolt. The wing part that removes for the toon or toy look also folds and mounts on the outside of Silverbolt’s legs in plane mode. Making it much more stable. Wish I could screenshot it and show you.

He needs rubber feet pads
