Walmart $15 Vinyl would have us cleaning them out. that's why it's not on this year. one year i believe it was 2019 a fellow VC member bought 1 of each record even if he wanted it or not he cleaned out his Walmart store. you name it he bought it. i wish they would bring it back. i had my eyes on a few titles that would be perfect for $15 like the box sets at $45. that's an amazing deal there. :( sadly they wont do it again.

The best budget vinyl system IMO would be a good set of powered speakers like Q Acoustics M20 or Ruark MR1 Mk2 and an entry level turnatable with inbuilt phono preamp like a Rega Planar 1 Plus or Pro-Ject E1 Phono. For CD playback, maybe a Pro-Ject CD Box 1E or entry level Japanese player like the Denon DCD600NE? Another option might be a portable CD player with digital outs like a FiiO DM13, Moondrop Discdream 2 or Discdream 2 Ultra - a player I really like the design of, though unfortunately it lacks Bluetooth unlike the FiiO. Also I have misgivings about the reliability of "Chi-Fi." Headphone wise I like IEMS, I've my eye on Sennheiser IE 200's or those really expensive Shure multidriver ones like the Aonic 4s or Aonic 5s. For over ears I think Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2, Sennheiser Momentum 4, Sony WH-1000XM5 and Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 are the best around the £200 price point. Yes I've been equipment window shopping lol.

Have you seen TerryAndKaniyia on TH-cam I think framing a reaction as if you just heard the song for the first time is such a good idea. 2nd album from San Holo and 2nd Album from Elohim is what got me hooked into EDM if you can pick any song from those artists that would be awesome. Also see San Holo live definitely a good vibe.

CDs were a huge thing when I was growing up in the 90s and early 2000s. This was the time when internet was not what it is today. Everything now days is digital with the highest quality visual and audio. I mean you can stream Netflix movies in 4K with Atmos vision and Atmos audio in the highest quality possible something that could not be done a decade ago go and it just shows how fast and superior internet has become and this is only the beginning. To be honest Cassettes, CDs, and Vinyls were good in the past decades. Like you mentioned if you buy a car these days there won't be a CD player because times have changed. Streaming services like Tidal and Quoboz can give you Hi Resolution songs that are much better than CDs and yes if you like the song you can buy them and own it for life but not in CD quality but rather high resolution which is 24bit rather than 16 bit CD quality.. If we were living in the 80s and 90s I would say CD's and Cassettes are great but unfortunately no. PC games are all digital now but in the 90s they were all physical. Console games are digital too and not too long ago there were always physical. When was the last time you ever saw someone in public listing to music via a cassette or CD player? No trying to mean or rude but times have changed all because of how powerful internet has become.
