they ended up leaking lol. i replaced the thermostat with an improved racing thermostat.

its a closed system, there is a heat exchanger in place of the factory air to air intercooler, and there is a dedicated electric pump circulating coolant between the intercooler and the heat exchanger.

@@BEAMERNOOB yeah i know it has its own coolant system what i meant was how did you wire the coolant pipe on a switch or how some people wired to work with standard engine pump. I hear they splice into factory wiring which i dont like

its actually a lesser standard, reasonable suspicion. and the carb sticker should be more than enough to alleviate any kind of suspicion the officer had.

when i got the car it had a trans fluid leak so it wouldnt move, i did do all the seals and refilled it and replaced the pan/filter and it was fine even when i did stage 1+ and i had no issues with slipping. then i did the intercooler, inlets, outlets, dp's and stage 2+ and it slips.

i ended up just giving it some torque reduction for the 3-4, 4-5, and 5-6 upshifts and that solved the slipping on upshifts in those gears.

it ended up being a small vacuum leak, i tapped a fitting in to my manifold to reference the fpr, and the bov off of, one of them i didnt tighten all the way and it was leaking the whole time lol.

Yeah it seems pretty straight forward. He drove by a speed trap, and the cop noticed the plate missing. The part I don't get about this video is he was going to get pulled over eventually. He's not really arguing that he's innocent, just that he didn't believe he should have been caught this time.

@@Spectre11B Possibly, but the cop didn't tell him why he was pulled over. Instances like this is why that law was made.

@@kevinscott4081exactly, If he saw I had no front license plate before initiating the stop he would have said the reason I pulled you over was no front license plate. Couple that with the fact he had to walk around my car probing for something wrong shows he didn’t have a legitimate reason to stop me in the first place. I should also mention he took a picture of the front of my car because he knew he was about to be writing me a bs ticket and there was a good chance I’d be fighting it so he wanted “evidence” like ohh yeah look I took a photo of his car with no front license plate to back up that was the reason for the stop. He really wasn’t banking on me having a dash cam rolling tho.

@@Spectre11Bto clear it up a bit, I bought the car last year and it never had a front license plate, I ordered customized plates and they took 11 months to come, they came a few days prior to this and didn’t have registration stickers with them, the day prior to being pulled over I went to the dmv to get new registration stickers and install the plates, the day I got pulled over was the same day my front license plate mount came in the mail and was waiting for me at home. So fine whatever I didn’t have a front license plate and got a ticket, that’s not the part that pisses me off, the part that pisses me off is having my registration revoked and i can’t drive that car till this is cleared up in court over an air intake that was legal, he ignored and dismissed me when I presented documentation to prove its legality. That’s like getting a ticket for not having your license and telling the officer I do have my license here it is and he ignores it and makes up some bs about it’s not a valid license if it’s not a transparent card or some completely made up bs that isn’t true. I’m mad that I’m expected to prove my innocence when I did nothing wrong. I’m mad that I’m confident he never observed I didn’t have a front license plate because he would have stated that right off the batt as the reason for the stop.

​@@BEAMERNOOB Does it say the driver is required to assist by popping the hood? Generally, we are not required to help in their investigation. The only thing they can demand is to step out of the car. That's how I understand it anyway. Many people lock their keys inside their car when they step out so the Cops can't get in the car.

i agree and disagree, i agree that we do have some pretty bs laws here, but i disagree with the statement "its not the cop" because the initial stop was actually unlawful to begin with and an actual benefit to having this happen in California we have a law which makes it illegal for cops to not immediately state the reason for the stop before conducting any type of investigation which he didnt have a reason for the stop and failed to state the reason when he stopped me. im going to go over what happened in detail in my upcoming video.

@@BEAMERNOOBCA is the only place I've ever heard of an underhood search and I'm 45. Absolutely insane and illegal. No one should tolerate that.

If it's not OEM it's illegal it's plain and simple it's nobody's fault but your own I know it sucks but it's the truth

In California they made it so they can perform vehicle inspections which include under the hood and aren’t considered the same thing as searching the vehicle

So far I’ve messed with the torque reduction and torque limiters in xhp and it seems to help a lot, I also messed with the boost by gear tonight and will go out and test tomorrow.
