My first trip to PittRace with the Blackwing and this was my best lap of day 1. The fast lap starts around the 2 min mark. The car is stock other than a track alignment.

I was having a nice discussion with someone about why you need to flush the brake fluid - especially the stock fluid. This was the first lap on track in my then new C7 ZR1 with the OEM brake fluid. This turned out to be my fastest laps of the weekend, but still a couple of seconds off my PB in the CT5-V Blackwing. I gridded up behind John Heinricy in his CT4-V Blackwing race car and did my best to hang on with very cold tires.

First run out this morning at the SPDC and put the Michelin slicks back on that I ran at VIR last month. Just a raw video from the last session today. Managed a 1:56.2 in the GS.R on a fresh set of Michelins. The car had more, but I only got one clean lap and then a black flag.

Huge thanks to my friend for letting me take his 2023 CT4-V Blacking out for a few laps at Summit Point. The car was incredibly easy to drive fast and while these weren't max effort laps I was consistently turning high 1:25's bone stock with a passenger. Look for an upcoming video where I'll break down the data and compare the 4BW to it's bigger brother the 5BW.

Since it's Independence Day in America I thought I'd post a little track video from this past week with the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. The lack of seat time this year is showing in my driving so no new best laps but the car felt great on track. Turn it up and listen to 668 HP of 'Murica!
