Very creative video 😊
A typical "loveless" UK Camden Album Release Compilation but the Album Cover is cool 😎
Good to see some shorts from you. Keep it up John 😊❤
They sound fairly clean 😊
@@JasonJames72 i never switch on the speakers with any my shorts videos. I add the music from TH-cam short library. They have every single imaginable.
@BeatUpRecordsCDs oh! 😮 so it's sourced not direct... 😀
@@JasonJames72 ill show you an example
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs oh ok 👍
Brilliant luv it 😊
That Charlie Rich album is really bad, believe me!! I will be more than happy to take it off your hands. It is just going to take up space in your collection, and you surely don't want that to happen.
I have it on vinyl record to 🙂
Fantastic RIP Tom Petty ❤😢
That MUSIC VIDEO always MAKES ME 😅😂 UNCONTROLLABLY yo ❤
SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I am GREEN with envy! Coming right over there on the red eye flight to look for Elvis stuff😅. Fantastic, beautiful LP covers, never seen any of those except for the Flaming Star LP which I picked up here a few months ago.
Some of these must be worth millions!
@@BeAGoodDoga 😂
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs well… I am exaggerating after all.😁😁👍🏻👍🏻
That's to bad, but still kinda cool.
More goodies! The Camden albums were everywhere over here. I need to start on the Australian EPs, only have a few.
@@tcbsince73 it’s quite odd, most if not all of the 1980s 45rpm reissues from Australia come is sleeves that are just a piece of paper folded in half. Elvis’ Girls Vol 1 EP had this but I didn’t actually show it properly in this video. I’ll show an example in my next Elvis video of what I mean.
Except for separate ways I've never seen any of those elvis covers and I did do alot of record hunting. Some were very well loved but I laughed loudly at "unplayable" 😅😂😊
Hard to come by some of those UK Camden releases. How have you been coping in your personal life? 🙁
@BeatUpRecordsCDs I'm getting there thanx John. Been a bit of a struggle plus I had covid and was on my own thru it. But I didn't mind. It's good to be home tho. Was away 13 months.
Very nice Vinyl's...i like the EP's the most! Thank You my Friend @ Elvis Girls Vol1 is still missing in my Collection 😏
Hi Harald, thanks for watching. Some of those 80s reissues aren’t essential to have but are fun to collect. There is an endless amount of Aussie eps from the 80s. 🙂
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs i know for sure buddy, i know for sure, but for an "exotic European" like me always a pleasure to find "Aussie" Vinyl's. There were a lot in the 1980's also in Europe available but i rather spent money on Bootleg Vinyl Releases😉...money was tight back than and still is today, a sad but a true fact
Nice ELVIS finds, just love finding ELVIS music in the wild lol. Can't wait till the next video to see more ELVIS treasures.
Glad you enjoyed it Kerry. The follow up video will include books, cassettes, CDs and vinyl. I managed to get some good deals. 🙂
I have that Little River Band CD also, "It's A Long Way There" is such a badass song.
HELLO! CAN YOU PRESENT US NZ BANDS PLS ? THANKS
Sure. That’s a great idea. There are heaps of NZ bands and singers, do you have any in particular you want to see? 🙂
For a small country they sure do have alot of bands lol. Love THE LITTLE RIVER BAND I have one of their greatest hits package.🤘❤🇺🇸
Thanks Kerry. I have barely scratched the surface with Australian bands. I do have quite a few 45s from Aussie bands. My dad collected most of them in the 70s. New Elvis video will be uploaded within the next 12 hours 🙂
Absolutely love this song 🔥
Me to. I’ll post some new Elvis music shortly 😊
I wish they would re-issue that Dragon album !
Hey Harry. So do I 🙂. I’m also lucky enough to have this album on vinyl record.
For those outside Australia, Tina Arena’s real name is Pina!😂😂😂😂 Good stuff John!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Many artists I'm not familiar with will definitely have to check out
Awesome vid. Us Aussies have some brilliant talent. Deborah conway from do re mi also done all vocol work on the abc tv series sweet and sour.... do you remember that from 1984...
I remember it just like it was yesterday
@BeatUpRecordsCDs oh John my dear ole mum passed away last nite. 11 months after dad.
@@JasonJames72 I’m sorry to hear the sad news. 😕 how are you coping ?
@BeatUpRecordsCDs yeah I'm OK with the fact they would have been reunited. Just never experienced such a big loss over 2 years. Partner, both parents. I'm having somewhat a breakdown plus not the best health. I'm so exhausted. Life's 💩 at times.
Hi 👋 I like Johnny Ray. His voice was very distinctive, and apparently i heard that he would sometimes cry when performing songs. He was an alcoholic, and a gay man.
@@Carl-x8y3c hey Carl, Johnnie Ray is a legend. I’ve always loved the song. Yes, Tonight Josephine. 🙂
Those were a lot of "crap" records, you got those K-Tel records though, now those were cool, just those alone make it worth $10 Love your videos, my friend. Most of those records are stuff I'd pass on, just the compilations I would be stoked about.
Thanks for the view Matt. Mason Ruffner gypsy blood is a fantastic album. The first 4 songs are some of the best. 😋
I miss the beat .that I where I got all my loverboy .it was the Best
Loverboy is also one of my favourite 80s bands. I have a 5 cd album series set featuring some of their studio albums 🙂
I miss the in.Sacramento. ca
Just goes to show that junk piles are universal. Then out of the blue comes Chuck and Bo...that's the ten dollar saviour!
Haha, you are not wrong Malcolm. The Mason Ruffner gypsy blood album is fantastic as well. I have it on CD. I have always personally loved that album. 🙂
I’d never really listened much to Peter Paul and Mary but I picked up A Song Will Rise in the Salvos last year and it’s beautiful. I’ve collected all their studio albums now.
I’ve been doing that with a few musicians recently as well. Hot chocolate, Suzi Quattro, Johnny Mathis. Just to name a few. 🙂
Omg. I had 1982 out of the blue on cassette. I was 12 years old then. Oh goodness. 🤩👋
It’s fun to buy a bulk lot of records for cheap and see what interesting, quirky covers and music can be found 🙂
Ah yes, good old Goofy Greats. My sister and I played the heck out of that one, as kids! Even our school bus driver had the 8-track! Lots of good stuff in here. Well worth 10 bucks!
It’s fun to buy a bulk lot of records for cheap and see what interesting, quirky covers and music can be found 🙂
Some people think they’re a pain, but all the compilations are a terrific way to get a library of the music of the 20th century. I hope they’re all in at least decent condition.
Most are playable. The solid gold volume series records are quite poor in quality. Nice to see you back again visiting my channel. 😇
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs Oh you’re quite like I am as a collector! Barring a few more recent post-80’s arrivals, you’re smart to snap up much of the material of the 50’s to the 80’s. Truthfully, those kinds of production ideals might very well become extinct, thanks to the computer. Great hauls!
Great vid. Records are a bit hit n miss tho $10 is a bargain. Cant even buy a burger for $10 these days. I have the k-tel rock n roll collection i bought brand new way back when and one of them is see thru...😊❤
Totally agree. That’s why I powered through this batch. Some of the covers are a novelty to look at. I’ll need to decide what to keep and what to donate. It’s a cheap way to have a bit of fun with some old music that I don’t usually get to listen to.
Many old classics nice find cant wait to see your cassettes in a future video
Some nice EMI manufactured tapes at the beginning, I see! Can’t wait for a better look at those!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Here’s to a great week, John.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@@BeAGoodDoga overall the cassettes are a little more decent than the records. 😊
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs I saw that. Thank you.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
👌let's the Hawaiian Palms 🌴 swingin' 🫠 TheBluRay /4K Disc it's like a sweet 🍍Drink...FANTASTIC!
Oh yeah! I don’t have any Elvis on blu-ray
Yeah you're right, that sounds really terrible. Could be a bad disc or just a bad transfer, sorry for your lose, John
Thanks Matt. I think it’s a bad transfer. I can listen to the majority of Lost in Memphis.
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs I bought a lot of bootleg CD-R's since I went back to buying CD's again. I bought one from this guy in France and when I received it, the cover was nice, the CD label was nice, even the inserts were nice [very professional looking] but when I played it, you can hear the scratches from the record that they used to transfer onto the CD, I was so mad bc I could've done a better job at recording the vinyl onto a mini-disc then to a CD-R by using a clean, pristine copy of the record. Have a good weekend, my friend.
@@matthewchance8835 that’s disappointing. I know the seller will let me do a swap when I see him next year. He initially gave me discount on the item but obviously he didn’t play the cd before hand.
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs Came across this by chance but glad I did. That is so disappointing and honestly had no idea. No problems, I will sort you out when I see you in 2025.
Great video my friend cheers 🥂 Elvis forever
Many thanks Marco. A lot more Elvis to show 😋
Talk about memories....I had both those books back in the sixties. Long gone. Wish I knew then what I know now about keeping stuff!
Thanks for the warning. That sounds shockin'. What a rip off.
I think it might just be those copies. Copying cd-r format is hit and miss sometimes and quality control suffers when it’s made by a very small company.
I guess it’s pot luck, when it comes to these…
Sorry ,,,, that's why I generally stay away from bootlegs no matter how good they look you just never know what you are getting. But I do have a few bootlegs in my ELVIS collection and most sound real good , and some not so good lol. But sometimes I see one and just can't help but buy it lol.
Very true! The unique cover art and mini discs sucked me in. 😊
I’ve never bought any of these, but they look interesting. Is Star and CMT the same company, as I’ve seen CMT on some of the spliced cds.
I’m not familiar with the CMT label. The Star production CDs that Mark showed on his channel seem to be only cardboard sleeves. Maybe there is another label on his CDs . Only the star label is on mine and it can be found on Discogs. Sorry I’m not much help.
I'm sorry for you my friend; but i think these are all CD-R Editions and not factory pressed CD's🤔 (i have the Pot Luck CD-R in my Collection and so i stop collecting these CD-R STAR Products) Thank you John!
@@haraldtrittner4396 hi Harald. Any issues with your pot luck pressing ??
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs ...as far as i can remember no issues on my Pioneer CD Player. But i know my Discman has "Troubles" with this CD-R☹️
Where do you source your new replacement jewl cases from, so you get a like for like replacement? 😊
Great question. I do have 5 boxes of classical CDs in my garage that I dip into and swap jewel cases with. Typically classical CDs don’t get played or handled often, so they have very few scratches and no missing teeth on the inner tray. They are in abundant supply at thrift stores and I pick them up 3 or 5 for $1. I don’t pay anymore. I have made a video showing the classical boxes in one of my What’s in my cd library videos. Thanks for watching 🙂
@@BeatUpRecordsCDsThanks for your swift reply. And I think you are right.. Supply of decent CDs are drying up in thrift/ charity shops 😢
Shame about those 💿 the mini discs are awesome tho. Looking super hot too 😮 i was a port power supporter during my Adelaide years.😊
The colours suit me. I don’t like the game. Much prefer NRL
Did you say all those albums for $10?? You always get great scores, I never find anything like that in my city, especially CD's for cheap Believe me...I'd have a bigger collection... if I were able to drive. I'm stuck buying my CD's online. Great video.
Yes I did. The fair was closing up and they wanted the unpopular records gone. They had 4 boxes of 45s. I decided to pass on those. New video coming very soon Matt.
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs Looking forward to it
I would be in my GLORY if Los Angeles had something like this!
@@GeorgeMaster-xg7lg I would have thought Los Angeles has record fairs ?
@@BeatUpRecordsCDs not that I know of,anyway
Thought they only did one
Omg your collection!!!
Glad you enjoyed it Thomas. The collection has grown a considerable amount since then. 🙂
