Amazing run with just one hand! This is actually the first time I've seen a One Hand Zelda 1 gameplay. Just a question: why grab that red candle when you already got the blue candle? That gave you ~30s loss in time. Would be less with a perfect block clip at the 1st attempt, but still a big time loss. I'm actually really impressed by all these screen scrollings with just one hand! So often at first attempt. It's not even easy with two hands. And the running question I always ask myself: why are the level 1 & 7 bosses that easy to beat? At least in level 7? They could at least have added shooting balls from 2 corners in level 7 so it's at least a little bit harder :) but it is what it is :)

A tip to improve the speedrunning a bit more, that is to enter the Level 5 boss with only 1 bomb and not to enter it with 7 (?) like you did here. The reason: when you use that last bomb on the level 5 boss, the game will automatically switch the B button item to the fluit because it's the only B button item that you can select. The bow is not possible since you got no arrow. This speedrun trick with the level 5 boss will probably save you 1-3 seconds. Or what the time it takes to select another B button item :) I've watched LackAttack a lot so I can see where you lose time. You lose pretty much in level 3 with the red darknuts. And also with the screen scrolling glitch in the overworld. Since summer of 2023 I've played Zelda 1 a bit and tried those glitches like screen scrolling and that is not easy. I can def say that you're crazy better than me and LackAttack is "unreal" at that :) LackAttack is almost like TAS at that glitch. I've seen a TAS speedrun for Zelda 1 and that is way better than WR. One main difference between TAS and human WR is that TAS takes a lot advantage of Link touching an enemy that makes Link "jump" a couple of "squares" very quick that saves time compared to walk that same distance. When doing that, the "kill enemies counter" gets resetted. We know that the 10th enemy got the bomb. I believe the 16th got the fairy, not 100% sure. It's a bit hard to remember all that :) Another thing that's very hard for me is the level 4 boss when doing the "WR route" with only 4 heart containers. You need to stab each head 8 times or so, so 16 (?) times in total and you got that green outfit so you must avoid taking damage. Anyways, you're far far better than me :) but I like to share some thoughts and tips :) So next time you play level 5, try to enter the boss' room with only 1 bomb! 2 bombs might also work, just drop those 1-2 bombs and the game will autoselect the fluit for you so you don't need to use that manual item select screen :)
