totally unnecessary. it will not bottom out if just do a simple shroud to hold the sag. on load i am getting max 60-65% 1:1 fan ratio.... in addition, if everyone else wants to know. i tried both 2070 & 3080 gaming x trio and it fits in my NR200....

Good temps tbh. Im gonna try this but im gonna run bottom intake, top exhaust and i have a hyper 212 v2 blowing upwards to so all its all going 1 way. i can see why you vented the sides as exhaust with your cpu cooler though

Hey, not sure if you still around but I was interested in doing this for the 6800XT Gaming X Trio (assuming it's more or less the same process at least) I see you used Arctic P12s. Have you more or less measured the gap? I was thinking of doing this but using Phanteks T30 instead, but I wanna make sure it all fits (as intake so I don't have to mess with the tabs) Another longshot is if you happen to know how many amps the original fans use? You can daisy chain the T30s but I wanna make sure it stays under amperage for a single fan header in this lmao (Edit: I've read that apparently the headers should be just 1 Amp as well. In that case all is good, 2 T30s in Performance only go up to like 0.72)

Didn't work for my gpu, but there's a way for nvidia cards: Here are the steps on how to Optimize your Game (For NVIDIA GPU Users Only): >Open NVIDIA Control Panel >Under '3D settings', go to 'Manage 3D Settings' >Go to 'Program Settings' Tab >Select City Car Driving application (or Add the game if it is not on the list, just follow the game path in your steam folder>steamapps>common>City Car Driving>Bin>Win32>Starter) >Now go to Specify the settings for this program area and change the following: > CUDA - GPUs = "Use these GPUs" > OpenGL rendering GPU = "Your GPU" > Power Management mode = "Prefer Maximum Performance" > Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample otion = "On" > Threaded optimization = 'On" >Vertical Sync = "Off" >Then click apply. >Start the game. Now i am getting stable framerate using High Settings even with the rain effect. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the video, out of interest do you have the fans set as exhaust or intake? I have the same case with a FTW3 and found exhaust to be roughly 3-5° cooler. The tabs on the EVGA card protrude further than the gaming x, but I think 120mm silicon fan gaskets would benefit your mod greatly. You can find ones around 3-5mm thick and it’ll close the gap from the fan shroud to heatsink and isn’t a moving part so will decrease gap without the concern of clipping the tabs with the fan blades. Doing this to my FTW3 reduced peak temp by 1° but also dropped fan speed by almost 5%
