10000 steps per day doesn't actually have any scientific basis. Research over the last few years shows that doing less than 6000 steps is associated with poorer health outcomes but that the differences are quite negligible going over 6000. (Also this research assumes you're not then also doing lots of exercise like someone doing ballet training is so I wouldn't worry about your step count given you're getting a lot of other physical activity!)

God, my 16 year old daughter is an amazing athlete/no lying. Yet she has had to deal with the jealousy and pettiness. Wish parents would correct this, but I don’t think they will. Lately, I find myself not posting any of her accomplishments on online platforms, just because of the jealousy. God help us.
