The Spurn - Yorkshire Wildlife Trust (Jun 24)
www.ywt.org.uk/nature-reserves/spurn-national-nature-reserve
Such a beautiful place to walk, rich in wildlife and always a treat.
Spurn Point is Yorkshire's very own Lands End - an iconic and constantly moving peninsula which curves between the North Sea and the Humber Estuary. At over three miles long but as little as 50 metres wide, this landscape is unique and ever-changing.
Spurn has an extensive human history, leaving a legacy of fascinating but derelict buildings and hidden structures. But Spurn remains, and will always be, an utterly wild place. Always at the mercy of the elements, no two days at Spurn are ever the same.

A great place to walk and enjoy this stunning Suffolk reserve and tourist attraction. Its worth checking tide times prior to your visit, I managed lots of shots a video at low tide, this might not have been possible if the tide is high. #rspb #birdphotography #lovenaturephotography #suffolk #suffolkcounty #suffolkcoast

Anecdotally it seems like swallows are here in huge numbers this year! There was a half dozen or more flitting about over my head at work earlier today. A medium sized factory in the middle of a housing estate in Staffordshire.
Fantastic.
Lovely thank you..
God bless you
Always enjoy the content.. 😮
Where would we be without all the birdies.. 🐥
Amazing so lovely presentation
Thank you
Very nice.
If we were all as kind..
Birds are so kind..
A beautiful video! Thanks to you for it, and what a lovely place that is!
Thank you 😊

Great video again mate, love the Bittern shots !!!

Been here many times as it 30 mins from my home always a nice walk.
Great I agree, hadn't been since Feb, so lots changed 😊
Fantastic video Shaun really enjoyed it thank you for sharing it with us.Martyn
Hi Martyn thank you 😊
Beautiful shots❤
Thank you
Any plans to visit Carsington water soon mate? I love it there and always a huge variety of birds at every visit! Trouble is that I hear a lot of them and don’t see many. Be great to get someone like yourself there to record what’s happening!
Derbyshire ... ? no plans at present
Yep. In between Ashbourne and Matlock. Consider it missionary work from Yorkshire😁

Cracking video mate !!! Bempton is on my list for sure !!!! Just a bit of a trek for me haha
Well worth the time to visit, lots on that part of the E Yorkshire coast to see
Great video mate, looks like a fantastic place !!!
First class content again Shaun, keep up the good work 👍
Nice and beautiful video with lovely fooatges.
Thanks so much for sharing , looks a great place and I’ve learnt something that I didn’t know about swaying reeds. What was the bird in between the Sipos and the Thrush ? Also utterly gorgeous Tit with the Smokey face?. You normally add what they are in the video. Anyway thanks heaps.
Another great video Shaun, I like North Cave and think it's one of the jewels in the crown of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
Thank you - I enjoy it everytime I drop in...
Why is your video the wrong way round.
🙄
This video comes up as a mirror image. Why?
Beautiful video, lots of great shots! 3:33 is my favorite
Thank you 😊
Great work Shaun 👍
Cheers Daz 🫡
Well in Shaun! I was one of your lads on 15 on Herrick…. Some beautiful shots there mate ! 👊👊😊
Thank you - I have followed your journey for some time 👍 go easy 😊
Beautifully put together! Are they all taken at the same location? Can I ask for some advice on what you’d recommend for someone’s first camera who has recently taken up bird spotting🙂 I would say a budget of up to £500. 🙏
Thank you, this is a collection of photos over a year or so... I started out with a 2nd hand Nikon no more than £290... but the lens is perhaps where you should invest... sorry not much help... Good luck.
Love your channel mate have come across you channel by looking for similar to mine! I've been to Lackford lakes once before and it really is a stunning location, need to visit again soon!!!

Beautiful birdies..
Beautiful video❤
Thank you for sharing this I’m a budding wildlife photographer and would love to have the motivation and courage to do these kind of videos great video
Thank you - start small and simple and enjoy
Good stuff again mate
Ta mate 👍
Nice and beautiful video. Thanks for sharing so wonderful footages Shaun.
Thank you for taking time to comment 😊
Delightful captures . Lovely to see that spring has arrived with all that blossom 🌷
One to return to 👌
Great shots of the long-tailed tit. Fantastic
Great video Shaun, this is my local reserve and I was down there the week before you. Managed to see the Glossy Ibis as well as Pink Footed Geese and 2 lifers in Stonechat and Bearded Tit.
Yes I must plan another visit as the migrant warblers start to arrive...
Stayed at the Crown & Anchor 2019 Shaun, remember the hide, pretty good one. We got the Brents then, Yellow wag & Pintail too..
😃
Thank you that was great; love all the birdies..
Thank you
Nice video Shaun. We are planning to get that way but hopefully when it’s less windy.
I'd recommend visiting the Spurn too if out that way 👌
Hi shaun, it’s a great part of the world. I go there quite a lot but it can be a bit barren in terms of birds. And then at certain times of the year it can be very productive like mid to late spring. I like the other side of the river, Barton on Humber there are some great spots over there. Anyway, another great video, thank you very much.
Thank you for taking time to comment, Paull is my local reserve, so visit often and have enjoyed the differing seasons on the reserve. Looking forward to warmer weather and the warblers returning 😀
Lovely video! It's been really windy here lately too, much harder to get a good shot!
Even with the lens hood off, the lens was just acting as a sail in the wind 😁
