Stock with performance air filter GTI exhaust Be aware this is first run with new Air Mass Meter Tested on rolling road for around 128 BHP This was filmed with OnePlus One and the app called TrackAddict. Later was it edited with RaceRender

About 42knots. The acc was good, you could probably go up 2 sizes in prop, would give about 50knots. Well done!
Goddag de herre! jeg er super interesseret i båden! vanvittigt fedt projekt i har fået hen. Jeg står selv og kunne godt tænke mig en diesel speedbåd, enten at bygge en selv ud af en draco 1800 suntop! er båden en i har endnu? i så fald hvis i er villige til at sælge er jeg meget interesseret! evt. har jeg lidt spørgsmål hvis jeg selv skal igang med at bygge :)

Thats not unburnt diesel, thats just exhaust system cooling water. That kind of cooling is used in most inboard engines

@@sh614 I'm familiar with how water-cooled inboards work and I'm aware the cooling water exits the engine through the exhaust. The unburned diesel I'm referring to would be the black smoke that comes out of the exhaust with the engine cooling water periodically. Perhaps you only watched a short portion of the video and missed the obvious black smoke. As far as exhaust cooling water that is something I've never heard of. Is that similar to the headlight fluid your mechanic recommends? I'll have to Google that!

What is top speed?I have glastron sierra v212 with 7.5 v8(460 ford) and jet but top speed is just around 100km/h what is slow for 7.5 engine and it's eating fuel like tank 20galons per h on full throttle 🤣
They state the top speed is around 100km/h. Yanky engines are only good as anchors in boats.

Hi, i do that semi-professionally here in Porto,Portugal; (doing one now with a Iveco 2.5 TD ,mechanical pump, antifreeze,turbo and intercooled,in a Mercruiser Alpha one 1988 SEA RAY Seville 19 ft CC, to be registered in Poland); It´s simple, you need an adapter plate,around 20 or 25 mm thick; this plate bolts to the BMW engine,then the bellhousing , be it Mercruiser or Volvo Penta,bolts to the adapter plate; *CENTERING* must be perfect,use dial indicators; the fore and aft distance/relation of the output splines to the splined disc must be very close to the original ,does not need to be exact; if Mercruiser,the fore and aft , AND the up and down location of the 2 rear motor mounts be carefully observed, the engine *alignement* of mercruiser setups is *CRUCIAL* ,you´ll need a special alignement tool.
