You didn’t have to put a LSD friction modifier?
No not in this case per the owners manual. I always follow the "recommended fluids and lubricants" section in the owners manual.
@@many-points Right, same here. Looks like I have a 3.92 Trac Lok, so I ordered a friction modifier. Mobil 1's gear oil claims to have the modifier added, but I'll still add the modifier. Better safe than sorry. Thanks.
Is this thing portable or does it need to be plugged into an outlet to use?
Needs to be plugged in. The GB70 can be used anywhere: th-cam.com/video/kfN2SpmpK1k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=h0hjH-OD58foH82I
can u test it out without water going through first?
Perhaps, but I think all you will hear is at click when the sensor opens the valve. The sprinkler head wont move at all because it requires water to operate. I tested it out using my children, they love playing in the sprinklers anyways. 🤣
Thanks to your video, I was able to locate and replace my brake switch. It started with my third brake light going out (broken bulbs due to weak gasket) and eventually it stopped working even with new bulbs. I even replaced the entire third brake light assembly to no avail. Today all my brake lights were out. I checked my fuses and they were fine. Coincidentally, my cruise no longer engages, so that switch is next on my list. Thank you!
Might be worth driving it a few ignition cycles (on drive, off) first to see if the cruise starts working again before replace the cruise control one. That was my experience - for some reason it took a couple of ignition cycles for the truck to figure out everything was fixed and for the cruise to start reengaging. Glad I could help. I posted the video because at the time there wasn't any good info I could find on it so I hoped it could help others.
@@many-points So believe it or not my cruise engaged after work tonight! Not sure what the issue was because I only replaced the brake switch, but you might be onto something with the few ignition cycles. Thanks again!
@@stargate-eu8fd Awesome, no problem!
the first time taking off the cover on my 1998 Chevrolet c1500 i replaced the gasket. it leaked a little after. i took it off again, cleaned the surface and now it is ok.. take the time to clean seal before installing new gasket. after taking off once and getting rid of break in magnet metal this is the only option i will use in the future. i see gasket maybe 20 dollars.. risk of the seal leaking.. more time.. this options makes a lot of sense..
And that's how you make a how to video. Great job. It's been 3 years, how is the Lucas gun doing?
Stills working great
I changed the brake light switch and I check all the fuses still no third brake light working
Might be an issue with the third brake light itself. The third brake lights on these are notorious for leaking (trapping water)
cool!
I'm looking into trying this to keep my chickens out of my flower bed and off my porch.
Might work well. Depends on how much chickens dislike being sprayed by water.
😊❤🎉
You posted this 2 years ago...so hope you see this request to do an update if anything has changed, good or bad. I ask because I'm getting one delivered tomorrow (5/4/24). I bookmarked your video to refer to it as you explained the parts of the sprinkler and what they do. I want to address whatever is digging holes in my grass...many small holes. I know squirrels are during the day but is a skunk coming a night? Hope this scares off the squirrels at least!!! Thanks for your video!!
I might do an update video sometime if I get a chance, but in the meantime - it's still working good! The foxes are easy to keep at bay (they HATE the sprinkler) but the skunk was super persistent and so I ended up putting a product "Dig Defence" around the perimeter of the shed because even though the skunk kept getting sprayed he/she kept coming back. Ultimately it was a combination of the Yard Enforcer and the dig defense and I'm happy to report I have zero animals living under my shed. I don't have a squirrel problem, so not sure how well it will work on squirrels but I wish you the best of luck!
Throttle body nawi kitny ki ati ha
The fuse didn’t blow when the wire melted?
Haha nope! I guess it was a slow burn.
❤😮❤ 1st off you said you had ag battery but you set up charge on 1st on left lead acid, and most important you never told how the de-sulphate functioning works and how to de-sulfate
Hi, assuming reading the manual correctly you can't make the Genius 2 manually desulfate. It is supposed to automatically desulfate "as needed" while it is "maintaining" or while the only the green light is flashing.
Will it charge two 6 volt batteries
I don't think so. I think it is designed to charge one 6V battery at a time.
Question: I just bought one and it charge up my battery just fine. NOW ... I want to permanently install it but how do I mount it to the side posts? The clip on ends will likely shake off.
Agreed the alligator style clip wont work in that case. I would leave the alligator clips off (the video at about the 1 min mark shows how they are connected/disconnected) and instead install NOCO's eyelet adapter and use that for your permanent install: a.co/d/7hG95dW
Great video. I also have an 04 Yukon and need to do this. Was the hose that came with the pump flexible enough to get in there? And how far were you able to get the hose in? Thanks!
Yes, the hose that comes with the fluid extractor is definitely thin and flexible enough to get to the bottom of the differential housing. It's a fairly stiff hose but it does flex. It took me a few attempts (reorientations) to get it inserted all the way to the bottom because it's a tight fit.
Thank You
I have changed the fuse and brake light switch and I still don't have breake lights all other lights are working
Hmmm interesting. Is the cruise fuse good as well? I'm assuming the bulbs are good? Are they incandescent? In my experience these trucks don't love LEDs, for some reason the lower wattage of the LED makes everything wonky.
@@many-points yes.
Me like
You can save yourself a lot of aggravation if you connect to the battery with the ring terminals. The clips are notoriously unreliable, and tend to lose connection after a few weeks.
On some batteries, , desulphater mode startes and on others not.... This charger is very strange. How to start desulphater mode manually?
I don't think this model allows you to start a manual desulfate. It doesn't allo the user that level of control.
I'm not even a fan of Chevy, GMC or Ford for that matter but that Eaton G80 locker is one of the best inventions & super badass + hella reliable much props & I like how they put it in their SUVs all different vehicles makes them so much more capable off-road than what they would be without it! Nice because it can be used in 2-wheel drive unlike my '22 dumbass Tacoma that has to be in 4L to work the locker 🔒🤷 figured by now Toyota would have engineered these trucks to work in 2wd or 4H with a locker... Not even on the 4th gen 🤮Tacoma! Whack! Colorado trailboss is the best mid-sized 🛻💨 for the💰... I love old skool Chevy/Ford trucks just not the new OVERPRICED bullshit their (all manufacturers) building. God bless 🙏💯👍👍
very informative video, 1 question, can I use this as my deep cycle 250 ah lithium ion back up inverter charger?, any advice on that, can I just hook it up n leave it ?
Should be able to per the owners manual it can do lithium ion 12V though I've never personally tried using it with lithium ion. Yes it's designed to hook up and leave it.
I was looking for a basic "How to use" manual and found your video. It's extremely helpful, but you didn't mention how long the battery took to charge. Other than that, fantastic video. Thank you SO much!!!! My dead car (-37C outside) is now charging away. :)
I just boxed mine up to return it, as a lot of people have stated, these things don't work! People you will regret buying this.
Does this charger desulfate a agm?
Yes it's designed to desulfate Lead Acid including AGM.
The hose was extremely hard to remove, had to get 2 people to remove the air filter end off first, pry that off, then pry the other end off the throttle body. This is with the tightening brackets unscrewed and loose.
Yeah sometimes rubber hoses tend to get very stuck. Glad you got it off.
The cable clips should be facing in the same direction as the light so you can see what your doing on a dark moonless night.
Do you have to plug it to an electrical outlet while it is being charged?
Yes the NOCO Genius 2 has to plugged into an 120V outlet the entire time during charging
Porn hub
"More figurines comming soon"
Thank YOU! I was literally looking for the appropriate screw driver to open the handle thinking it was in there. Oh dear
Can I use this as a maintainer and connect it and leave for one month? Do we need to take the battery out from the car as the temperature is -20.
The manual says that it is designed of -4 degrees Fahrenheit to 104 degrees Fahrenheit so yes you'll need to move the battery to warmer place before using the maintainer. When in within the required temperature range the maintainer is designed to be left plugged in indefinitely (a month is fine per their product documentation).
A+ video
Techron fuel injection cleaner works best to clean up after throttle body was cleaned. It cleans injectors too. Water remover is good too.

On the corolla 2004, is it a red or green sealant? I want to know before ordering
Not sure if there is a specific 2004 sealant. The PCV I bought came with no sealant so I just used some I had on hand. For reference the car in the video is a 2007. Ultimately I don't think which sealant you use matters as long as it's air tight seal to the valve cover. I've seen some people use sealant tape as an alternative.
@@many-points Thanks for the reply, I installed my new pcv on my 2004 corolla. I used the 19mm sized pcv I bought from the toyota website, however the pcv is not flush against my valve cover! It is sticking out and will not tighten further. Is this a problem? Did I get the wrong sized pcv? I believe there are two different sizes for these cars. I have no engine codes and car runs normally.. hope I did not damage the threading
@@posadist681 Not sure, I want to say the original Toyota PCV didn't thread all the way either if I recall (just the aftermarket did) so you might be ok.
@@many-points Ok sounds good. I replaced the pcv hose too since it was cracking. I noticed some oil sludge on the old pcv valve. I wonder if that means my engine has alot of sludge in it since I did not do oil changes regularly.
Yeah lack of regular oil changes can definitely do that.@@posadist681
I like mine, especially since you can use it as a memory shaver. The only thing I don’t like is that the flashlight is on the wrong side.
The blades wasn’t there lol I’m returning mine
Bummer, yeah haha return and get a different one.
Nice video...Anybody have any success charging / maintaining a Large LifePo4 (200ah) Battery's with one of these ??
I've never tried a Lipo battery with any NOCO product. Would love to hear if anyone has tried it and had success!
Won’t close
There is a catch (lock) mechanism on the back of the handle that you have to push towards the inside of the handle to close the knife.
Perfect explanation. The company should link to your video as their instructions are quite useless
Thanks! Glad it helped.
How can you remove the used, empty cartridge? There's no way mine comes off.
If it get's stuck I use a pick until I can get an edge of the cardboard. Then if you can get a couple edges of cardboard away from the cylinder wall then crush the tube (pinch it) and pull out. Worst case it comes out in pieces but with enough persuasion it will give in.
You’re better off just removing it once a year and cleaning it out. It’s not really difficult and mostly easily accessible.
True you get a more thorough clean if you take the whole thing off.
If I remove, do I need a torque wrench to tighten when I put it back on
I looked up my battery and still have no idea if it is 12V, AGM, or lithium. If in doubt should you just choose 12V and will it still work if you choose the wrong mode?
Yeah 12V is the safest bet. Most of the batteries on the market are standard flooded lead acid which would be the 12V mode. You could cross reference battery part number online to make sure you are using the right mode, if you look up the part number and it came from a specific store (e.g. duralast = autozone) you could call the store to get additional details on the battery. I'm not sure if the NOCO Genius 2 has any safety built in for accidentally choosing the wrong mode, so best to double check before charging.
How has it held up? I got one to replace an old starter pac I’ve had forever. It’s just a smaller more convenient size
It's held up really well. I've jumpstarted about 15 vehicles successfully since I bought it. I've only had to charge it a two or so times the battery holds a lot of charge.
excellent video sir
Hero
Thank you that was a great video. Can you please tell me where I would find the air cabin filter for a 2010 H3T?
Hi good question. My Colorado doesn't have cabin air filter and I was under the impression a H3 (and H3Ts) also don't have cabin air filters from the factory so none to replace.
