classic mega man: bald psychopath mega man x: bald psychopath mega man zero and zx: psychopaths with hair mega man V and X8: COOL LOOKING ROBOT THAT JUST CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND ABSOLUTELY DUNKED ON THE MAIN VILLAIN BEFORE STEALING THE ROLE OF THE FINAL BOSS at the end of the day, all of these final bosses are great and just show how good mega man bosses are in general <3

Just make Giga Metal fourth phase. People were justifiably disappointed with this boss battle and devs addressed it, but Metal Sonic deserves to be a mid-final boss, so they should've kept it.

Just goes to show persistence pays off.

Fun fact here: there's also a funny scene in operate shooting star where Megaman.exe comments: "Thankfully you were able to save your important person" when referring to Geo saving Sonia. It follows with Sonia asking "Important person? Geo, does it mean..." and Geo asks her to forget about it, seemingly embarrassed. Megaman.exe and Roll.exe then, jokingly, state that Lan and Mayl could learn a thing or two from them. It's a fun Geo/Sonia interaction. Then there's a little extra manga that follows Geo, Sonia and Luna going back in time to thank Lan, Megaman and Roll properly. Mayl finds it amazing that Geo's girlfriend was an idol, Geo corrects her very embarrassed while Sonia says "Yeah, I'm his girlfriend" and Luna corrects Mayl as well. Quite a fun interaction as well

Mmz4's Final boss gotta be one of the best ever

When you realize they have more chemistry and scenes than all of Lan and Mayl had.

Is there a mod for Mania Plus that puts this back? Metal Sonic Kai sucks when it isn't in Encore Mode and I want to play the good version of the Mania Mode fight again.

You'd think by around the 3rd or 4th time that Dr. Wily found himself kneeling at MegaMan's feet, pitifully begging for mercy, he'd realize maybe he needs to rethink some of his life choices.

Loved the curveball thrown for the final boss of MMX8. Was so conditioned with originals that Wily was always the final boss, in the X series that Sigma was the final boss, it came as a nice surprise.

Meh. I prefer Subaru x Misora from RnR. The ship from that series felt more wholesome compared to the awkward on-and-off relationship dynamic between Netto and Meiru. Meiru actually feels like the mother hen, or responsible older sister in this relationship than a lover.

I've wanted this one, but I got sonic mania after the release of mania plus, which sucks, cuz now I can't play the older version of this fight.

It's kinda ridiculous at this point how the more repetitive villains like Wily and Sigma seem to never get the hint that no matter what sort of scheme they come up with, the hero always takes them down the same way.

I like the current version, but I don't know why this fight had a wall of spikes instead of reusing the outrun set up of the Studiopolis Fight. That would have made much more sense from the get-go.

They should have limited Giga Metal to Encore, so then there'd be more differences between both versions.
