Wow. The Easter show and "Bushwacked" are two of my favs. Love Blocker & Canary- my favs. I love "Shanklin" (the one where a rebel commander takes over the ranch). Also "Forever". Landon, (writer, director and actor) never got an Emmy. I asked him (on "Larry King Live") why when Canary won 5 and he said one has to submit themselves to it. Always curious about why Canary left before season 12- a contract dispute,

This is a wonderful tribute to Pernell Roberts, a very likable and very talented actor. Thankyou very much. I have watched all the Bonanza episodes from the age of around ten, now at around 78 I watch the repeats over and over. Although after the 6th season they were not as good without Adam (PR) The show lost appeal to me as it didn't seem to have a depth to it as it did with Adam in it. I looked for other shows with Pernell Roberts in them (Limited in Australia unfortunately) and found a few movies and best of all Trapper John McIntyre MD. I so enjoy the movies and also watch the Trapper episodes repeatedly. His acting as Hezekiah Horn in s2 ep8 of young Riders, Requiem to a Hero, was phenomenal He deserved the award he received for that for sure. It was a sad story and nobody but Pernell Roberts could have played it so well. Oh dear sorry about the length of my comments, I think I could go on forever about PR. He seemed to be a good guy in his personal life as well. Thankyou again. kindest regards

You guys are super! I'm a big "Bonanza" fan. I wrote a "Bonanza" script when I was young but along with my other scripts I did (Mary Tyler Moore, Room 222, Run Joe Run") went nowhere. Got as far as speaking with James Brooks. My fav characters were Hoss & Candy. I was a husky kid and felt like an outsider, so, I was drawn to those characters. The series first 2 years were less than good. The series, to me, had its apex from 1967-1970. Tell us about your backgrounds please- are you all writers? Are there any set artifacts about- Hoss' hat, Hop Sings cue...? I wrote about 70% of the show's Wikipedia entry.

Thats really a good mix of Adam/Pernell. And the picture/ sound is good. I fell in love with Adam as a girl about 8 or 9 years. I didn't understand why. Today I know, about 62. All the best to all ladies who feel the same from germany and thanks for this video 😊

All of the characters on this series slowly developed- including Hop Sing. But Hop Sing to a lesser degree. On the prequel " Ponderosa", Hop Sing was a family counselor and herbal healer. VSY was super here and had two great episodes on him only. Had other great moments too. One of just 3 to stay all 14 years. After the series, he appeared on "To Tell the Truth", but no one on the panel could determine that he was the actor from Chan and "Bonanza". We love VSY!

Pernell and Dan was my 10th cousins and lorne's wife Nancy and mike's ex wife lynn were related to me as well so they were all related to each other in some way I talk to Gillian sometimes on Instagram sometimes

The Love Boat rarely failed to put a smile on your face. And this episode was a good example. Every episode they would include famous actors acting a drama storyline and another based on Romance. It’s no wonder this Television series lasted 10 seasons and I’m sure it still has a fan base. RIP Gavin Macleod, He appeared on some of the most Iconic TV Shows of the 50’s to 90’s.

Love the character of Ben Cartwright, not so much of the person Lorne Greene. He was too vain to go without the hair piece away from Bonanza. According to Michael Landon Lorne wasn't a fan of horses even though he made his living off the back of a horse.

Love Bonanza and love this! I'm guessing the image of the Ponderosa (from the theme park), is old. As the park was sold a while back. Is that ranch still standing? The billionaire who bought it was gonna use the land for skiing. My fav character was Candy, kinda aloof at first, but almost a Cartwright. And, of course Hoss, who was the heart/ kind soul.

Thanks for posting this. I’ll have to keep an eye out for your next convention. I knew Mitch back in his Jamie days and enjoyed these memories!
