A personal favourite from the 90s and reminds me of some good times. The chorus harmonies are really good.

NGL IMA FURRY BUT THIS GOES HARD PLAYING WAR GAMES OR COD
5.07 alvin lee goin home influence
THIS IS THE PEAK OF THE HUMAN VOICE.
Agreed
Speechless

Next time I'm in a heli, ill ask the pilot to play this
me in war thunder playing the M4A2 Sherman tank and dominating the enemy team be like:
6:10 is one of the best solos of the 70s
Alex: Ged, it's called a guitar solo for a reason ya know. (As Lee manages to lay down the baddest backing groove while taking his own solo)
Oh my gosh so dope!!
I was crying, So i played this. i am no longer crying.
Sounds like at the start of the solo he’s using some type of fuzz pedal set kinda low? Sounds absolutely incredible
ha ha....awesome!
Can’t compare Alex to anyone else to who’s better than who. Alex is Alex. Alex is brilliant and I’m grateful to have experienced his art personally. Long Live Lerxst!
2:10 Best part
Ritchie Blackmore always give us nice tone and also we can hear well. The best guitarist in the world
Let's see Clapton and Page play this!!
*I AM THE LORAX… I SPEAK FOR THE TREES… BUT FOR SOME FCKING REASON THEY’RE SPEAKING VIETNAMESE*
Great lead rhythm player often forgotten due to his overall status.
2:20 This is what I call the “legitimizer” lick. The average Joe would never play that lick off the cuff, and really shows Chris Hayes’ deeper understanding of the instrument than he usually gets credit for. It sounds quite a bit like something Steve Lukather would do.
This actually both Nathan East's bass (he used a Yamaha BB3000) and a synth bass on the intro and verses played by Michael Boddicker combined.
Afterburner kicks in at 3:07
0:29 You left the keyboards in
Wow, these isolations are like hearing this album in colour for the first time.
It takes me aback to the good days
Love this song
The magic of an Ashley SC-40 in action together with Geddy behind the wheel is always magical.
Played this during new Alexandria in halo reach
Fascinating how AL would threw in all these little variations during this major sounding boogie shuffle, for example like at 6:32
brilliant, how were you able to isolate the guitar track if they didn't record all the instruments seperately, or did they really do that?
Of course they had separate tracks.
I’m listening to this as I play Star Wars battlefront two
Anybody can play this, you just have to hit the play button
Just great raw power crunching rythym playing. Townsend and Malcolm Young are the 2 best rock rythym players ever known.
There's a rythem rick parfitt who I out in there too
I play this when I am playing rumble in league of legends
It's has as much a bass solo as a guitar solo
My guitar hero!, the most innovative song writing genius guitarist.
And he does that all the while as he sings, Amazing!
Reminds me of our great date!!! We rocked the stars that night on his farewell tour!!!
you could start a chuck norris type meme aroud geddy. "geddy doesn't play with his fingers....he uses his mind" or "geddy doesn't play the bass, the bass plays FOR geddy!".....etc.
...."the bass plays itself out of fear of ged's fingers"
Chris Squire I think is more like Chuck Norris, both in looks and the way Chris casually played a triple neck bass:
Geez....is that a thick bass tone or wut?!
Nice cover of Geddys bass line.
Excellent! Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day.
Geddy and John the Ox Entwhistle my all time favorites!
Which live version is this?
