I’m looking at adapting a real drift handbrake I already have to a 200kg mavin load cell using a usb-c hx711. Is there any reason your software wouldn’t work for that. The only difference I see is the load cell rating (20kg vs 200kg).

Well done Donny.....beast with the DIY and on the SIM track. I have spent my time chasing you around as I try to get faster but hey, I am only two months in to this SIM racing AWESOMENESS. I want to upgrade my diy handbrake with a KY-024 hall effect sensor via Pro Micro of course, Any idea if your code here would work to take the sensor info and apply it to say an X axis?

    • @donnycrash8954

Ha thanks @CakeEaterPro, feel free to friend me an hop into a session! You should be able to use the Joystick library to map the hall sensor output value to an x,y,z axis. I don’t think it would be exactly the same as my code but probably very similar. Keep racing!

Well, I bricked one of two Pro Micro boards.. And it's weird how the end product behaving: it's working 1-2minutes, then stops taking the signal from load cell and then shuts down. The same thing happened with my first board and now it's bricked without any hope. I'm a bit scared to use the second board for more than 2 minutes.
