Don't know how many times I have to tell you to play those Ace Attorney games. The best thing is that they are ALL on the Switch now. Every single one of them, even the ones that didn't get localized over here. And they're quality collections too. Ace Combat 7 is awesome, I heard it looks and plays great on Switch too. Let me know how Exophobia is, love the color scheme for it.

Nice to see Rogue Trip Vacation on here! That's my number 1 favorite PS1 game and definitely a hidden gem. Wish more people would talk about it. Also you forgot to say it has 2-player co-op. That's usually what i look for when it comes to retro games, it really helps these old games stand the test of time. When you can put it on and play it with some friends.

I haven't really tried any rom hacks, but I probably should look into them more. Would be nice to have a "best of rom hacks" list to go through.

I was never a fan of rom hacks, as most of them look like trash to me but that RE2 on Gameboy Advance would've been a sick way to play one of the classics. Too bad it didn't happen.

Teardown, clean and repaste absolutely required for almost any PS3 by 2024. Not saying it would have saved you, but there are lots that can still be saved.

U could do the oven thing with the board or you could have someone try to re solder it the fat ps3 is hard to keep running get a ps3 slim not a super slim they last a lot longer

When mine had that light, repairs were not up to par and I just bought the slim and my OG is still in its box waiting to be repaired.

Same thing happened to my original PS3 a few years ago (7) while playing NFS Prostreet to this day I can't get over the fact that I lost my favorite console

Earlyer this year i bought a PS3 slim, as soon as i got it i opened it, cleaned it, replaced the thermal paste, hacked it to monitor the temperatures and increased the fan speed when it reaches 70 celcius. These are old consoles and they are built the wrong way.

GTA 4 Online is fun until it's not. My experience has always been that you'll be in a lobby for a long time having fun, and the occasional modder spawns cars and ramps for everyone to enjoy. After maybe an hour or so the lobby will be pretty full(especially on weekends) and it's like we're back in the good ol' days. Then either a different modder will join or the one that was previously nice to everyone will start killing the entire server by setting everyone on fire or something making it crash your system. Every. Single. Time

That'a unfortunate. I have the slim model, I dropped it down a flight of stairs. My HDD is exposed, the front fender is completely detatched and I have to use small pokies to hit the circuit button because the power button fell off. I can't believe it still works.
