i actually get the plot, its about a dumb, morally upright, justice based, we should live all together equally, dumb elf cutely avoids killing the source of corruption because she wants to stupidly talks to the effin monster. she did good at the last part tho, im actually curious on what happens to her after entering the portal, is she going to be like the ice guy that imprisoned himself to save nesaak but dumb people around him thought he cursed the land or she perfectly fine after going out the portal. and thats my tea. (enjoyed the storyline btw)

Even with how much I exploited the lootrun system I still think it's the worst update we've ever had. The old system might have been tedious but as you said, that's kind of the point. Open a lot of chests and if you get something you get that rush of relief that you just DON'T get now. In fact it's more the feeling of annoyance now if you open a final chest after a few hours of a run and get nothing. I would have much rather seen a merge of both systems where you can freely lootrun chests for mythics but there was a set of weekly challenges that gave a small bonus after a set amount of work. Also world events are broken lol

Honestly I quite like this as someone who doesn't have as much time to spend on games anymore (I just started playing a bit over a week ago) Wynn is a much smaller time commitment than some other MMOs which I can really appreciate :)

Haven't play wynncraft for years and when I heard old raid, I was like "there are raids!?". Remembered the time where max lvl was around 50. Can't wait to dig in every "new" feature. In the old days of wynncraft there wasn't any trade market, you had to find someone with the item you wanted and hope to have enough money to buy it.

Love the video, but why was it necessary to call it "gay" (even with the "disclosure")? Just call it bad

they have made mythics easily acquired by the average player and honestly there's benefits to that. it does reveal how fickle the endgame was, and aspects being able to fill that void definitely is a helpful hold over... but it's not a permanent solution. we'll see whats to come with Fruma and hopefully that major update really nicely adds to the endgame

Using Disco and Cata to show that mythic prices have gone down is kinda misleading tho. These items were more so a victim of being out of meta, which is why they dropped in value

Honestly I think it's for the better that mythics are cheaper, there's reason to have long grinds in mmorpg's like this, but having to do so to get the centrepiece of a build feels kinda rough, like having to do a giant grind just to get on a close-to-even playing field with the average wynn end-game player is kinda dated at least imo I think grinding for something like aspects is much better, as they won't define a build by themselves, but simultaneously make enough of a difference that they're worth grinding for if you want that extra bit of power

I disagree. As someone who played during 1.20, the prohibitively expensive cost of mythics was a major negative factor for casual players. Nowadays, even if someone doesn’t lootrun, doesn’t grind, just plays casually, they can easily afford a mythic.
