@@frank6013 personally I think divine damage is cool but it should be only for mythic age techs in my opinion. Melee divine damage also I don’t think is that op what’s op is divine damage range attack death balls, like wadjets, slingers etc

@@adrienperret9473 it is a very frustrating strat to go against indeed. The best advice I can give is when you go against Kronos try to advance to the classical age as fast as possible and get a hero out. 👍🏻

@@Bu11yMagu1re I would probably change this tier list yet again. Odin really good with high hunt maps. Cuz he gathers hunt faster and has good great hall units. But overall I do think Thor is actually pretty good. I overestimated the nerds for Thor this patch

Hoplites are only a soft counter to Contarius and Contarius + Arcus + Turmae beats Hoplites + Peltasts especially if you went Leto for the extra pierce armour, just target peltasts with Contarius. Going Infantry has the problem they can mix in toxotes/hypaspists super easily. If you force them into prodromos you can add your katapeltes. Theia is good in general vs Greek because with 10 dryads and a bunch of stymphalion birds you overload the Greek heroes. They only get 3 early.

It’s definitely important in some situations. Some times it can change the game entirely. Always good to have a habit of checking the relics in my opinion.

Absolutely, some are real game changers. Getting monkeys super early gives amazing scouting the whole game and sway early fights

@@gilby2451 streaming still helps a lot in my opinion. But I do agree TH-cam content is dope as well

If they want to keep people playing it they should do something simple other games do, make so people has to do daily quest to earn some currency, with that they can probably get comsmetics for the units (Something Starcraft has done in the past), Portraits, or stuff like that, hell, they could even make so you can win DLC's with said currency at a very high cost so people has to grind to get them. If they want neew people to buy the game they shoudl try and call the attention of other RTS' players, but that would requiere a high and expensive marketing campaing most likely

Also, there's a part of the world who loves this game, and that's south america, a lot of us grew up playing this game (This was my first RTS), and I haven't seem the developers trying to spread retold among us, they even shadow banned one of the content makers on our community and he's barely doing any content related to AOM since that.

I do agree that on ranked mod you should be able to ban a god and even maybe a map or two, I have faced like 5 poseidon on a row and that's just game over since I mostly play Set, and Poseidon being so oppresive they just spam cavalry and some archers that they rush me on second age, also, I (and I think most casual players) hate water maps, not having to stress out because of them would be nice

@@stefanor5811you give amazing points. It definitely isn’t the responsibility of the players. I just do think it could help if players also thought about the health of the game and did what they could to help support. I think the dev team is really small. Wish there was some more work being done by the devs for sure. Hopefully they will right the ship.

@@frank6013 it’s not necessarily a rotating op god it’s just that meta shifts slightly depending on the recent patch notes. It’s how it goes with most rts games. Aoe 4 StarCraft etc…

I feel like this version is way better but just needs some time to be polished. I went back to legacy and not having A move and some bad pathing made me realize how much better retold is. Plus the graphics of retold are insanely good in my opinion.

@johnarbiter attack move was also in legacy brah. Better graphics does not make a more liked game , any educated guess why AOE2 has more players than AOE4?

@@Jaz_4u_2 of course graphics isn’t everything. Aoe 2 came out at the perfect time and was one of the first popular rts games. In my opinion aoe 2 is more about a game coming out at the right place and right time

PS I only watch some tournaments live. As a consumer I prefer for entertainment and learning TH-cam summaries or videos as I won't have the time or interest of watching everything. You have to be selective such as me watching this video at 2x speed and taking care of my chores on the side

Keep it up and let's hope we get a banger DLC and the remaining bugs flushed out to have the second Dawn for this awesome game! Keep this up! (Although at least for me more condensed time wise, 3 hours is a lot!)

I stream with a keyboard app that shows what hotkeys I use in live time. I also did another video earlier with a pro player discussing hotkeys if interested :)

What... On the contrary It's the most pointless for Freyr since his upgrades are already cheap. I wouldnt even care to pick it up since it saves almost to no resources for him. For Thor - yes, it's the ultimate relic for him!
