Green Cheek Conure FIRST TIME Target Training
มุมมอง 1.6K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is the first time we are doing target training with this Green Cheek Conure! He learns how to target so quickly, it’s amazing! We use a clicker with a target stick to mark the right behavior and give the Conure a treat. Conures learn to follow a target stick. When the Conure touches the stick with his beak, he gets a treat. Once parrots learns to target, we can use this positive reinforcem...

How I start his training? Kindly provide some tips plz.
Sir, is it necessary to trim ringneck`s wings for training?
What is there favorite treat ?
why u guys use clicker lol is it only asians who can click with their tounge and teeth?
I have a parrot question! Why do these guys have those black patterns on their faces? Is it like cheetahs where it catches sun glare, or an identification thing for them?
How much time do you leave it alone until it's comfortable and ready to get out the cage?
They look more dinosaur-like as babies
I just got a target stick and a clicker yesterday, and my pineapple conure has started to get it so fast. Before I wasn't sure it was nessesary, but with the amount of progress Mango has made over the last 2 days, I've completely changed my mind, it's literally a cheat code. Working on teaching him to step up soon!
My Grandma used to have a parrot and I was the only one she let scratch her, rub rings around her ears, and open her pin feathers. Though I didn't really understand why she liked me messing with her pin feathers at the time. My monkey brain just liked to mess with them and she seemed to like it, too. And of course, I stopped when she wanted me to.
I don't know if my timneh can speak or not 😢 I wish I was buy the cango one
❤❤❤❤
Still so young. They've got many beautiful decades ahead still. Hope they don't get separated.
I used to work at a pet store. The conures _loved_ when I would help with their pinfeathers. In fact it was one of the ways I would make friends with some of the calmer ones. 😊
You better get that baby a pisnack for sitting so pretty for the camera
How do you know it's a baby? It looks like one!
Baby has fuzzy snoot 🥹💓
3 of my cockatiels compete to have their pin feathers cracked, the other two don't like me touching them at all bit I still do 😥they are just so cute

Shes so cute!
Can we keep parrots without a cage 🦜 i don't want to keep it in cage and feel like home 🙂🙂🙂 i want the parrot to it own as it's own place instead 🐍🐍🐍🐍
No, they can destroy everything and hurt themselves. Their instinct is to chew everything up and look for nest sites.
Brilliant creatures in excellent care, they look so healthy nice job
Hello! My cockatiel is eating its own poop
Clean more often 😉
@All-Parrots yep, I am running sometimes to get its poop out immediately while hot.
@All-Parrots will your tamed parrot pair with other parrot? I am asking because I have recently purchased a female cockatiel two years old now. I put in the same cage with my male tamed cockatiel. Mine is like a friend with my family. He is 8 months already. He is not showing any interest in her. Sometimes, it shows aggression. Some people said it is young now. I should wait till it will become 1 year old. Would you like to advise anything? Thanks
nature is automatic and doesnt need help
Then what are massages or medicine for? Just cause it takes care of itself doesn’t mean it won’t feel better when someone helps 😉
How should I start with making my bird to stay on the parch first? My bird always wants to be on my shoulder or whenever he is not because he is mad with me 😢
Just like this. Start by practicing on a Parrot Training Perch using a clicker and target stick. The more you practice targeting around on the stand and stepping up, the more the bird gets accustomed to doing something besides jumping on the shoulder. Learn more at AllParrots.com

Never seen a blue ece
Took me 3 days to build a bond with mine I've long seen your videos not often but good content. I've trained birds last few years but macaws bonding everything is different. They don't respond to the way you train younger ones I figured this out straight away they over observe things their intelligence is unmatched. I had no experience never touched a macaw before mine. She would try fly in this small bedroom of mine landing in bad spots she could of broken her wings so I made her step up if she did get herself in a situation regardless the bite. She realised I am here for her through and through. I'm Australian I'm going to try get her as a assistance bird because she does alot for me goes on trains users no matter what with me. She keeps people at distance if I'm maybe uncomfortable she snapped me out of being sexually harassed on a train so I finally got up and moved then I was angry ready to call cops if they came to the second level carriage. We protect eachother, some people that talk to me she puts her wings around me like a shield but not everyone. She looks after me more than I ever imagined and shows me the biggest amount of love. The breeder saw on videos I put my finger in her cage as you would know when they are young they can rush you. She bite once really hard more didn't know the strength of her beak. Then she knew I'd pull back fast sometimes after contact is made so she would hold my figure not hurt me and let go back off to show me she wasn't a threat. It felt we were playing games of trust she had to trust I wouldn't remove my finger and me that she wouldn't bite down to hard. I've never said any bird it was like playing games to build trust on both ends . We are so close if she wants to bite she thinks and doesn't chooses not to. Because there is no reason to. When someone has snuck up behind me to touch her she went off and she alerted me and from her she flat out showed them no they freaked. She we look out for eachother. Cuddles showers she goes everywhere with me. Training her to sit on my lap on the train give the neck holding sometimes a break I get so many scratches. But when I tell her to let go off my skin she does. Bit like I said your content really helps others who may need it. She talks constantly she actually cared to learn to talk could say hello after a week home said heaps. She can answer 2 way conversation too. She is so smart knows many tricks and loves it. Slowly taking steps training her to loop on a harness to one day free fly and I'll attach a tracker incase I love her that much. Thanks for always posting content
Baby 😊❤
Hello is it normal to have that big of a cage for the conure? I want to get a conure but unsure if I should get a cage like yours to make him feel comfortable in my room first then get him a bigger cage or just get a bigger cage 😢
Best is both. They can benefit from a smaller cage when they are young and for sleeping. But as they grow up they can enjoy a large cage for playtime.
Awesome thanks!!! ☺️
Do you have any tips on taming budgies? I have 4 budgies and I have been 50/50 on them, sometimes I can pet them but other times but they are really scared and skittish of my hands. Thanks 🙏
Sure, check out the videos and info at AllParrots.com
Ok Thanks a lot i hope this helps 👍
Am I right in thinking that you're removing the sheath around the pin feather not the feather itself?
That’s right
My bird would have bitten him.
I have a sun conure and he has become biting bird dog....he bites aggressivly tl every new person and somtimes ripped off the skin from face ...he is brutal...there may situation arrive when people will tell me to leave him in wild or rehome him....how can I make friendly for strangers also so i do not need to train him for months.
You gotta be willing to put the work in or it’s not going to work or not going to last. Videos and training supplies from AllParrots.com help speed things up
Very useful and nice table top perch
Glad you like it
The parrot's name is Kili? Sweet bird 😍😍 Kili means "parrot species" in tamil language.
Cool
Both parrots are soo lovely ❤❤
nice bird
I have A. 3-year-old green cheek and 6 month old yellow sided conure He's very friendly feisty, but he does not want to be cuddledor touched on his head or anywhere. I did try to bond with him at the store. And when bringing him home, separating them and so how do I get the bond that I have? With my 3-year-old , they're both handfed and I had bonded with after he got home. the experience with visiting my 6 month old compared to my 3-year-old who was already ready to go to new home so I don't know how to approach getting him a little more Use my hands
Both of these birds are beauties! ❤
Look at that big baaaaby birrrdy just loving life ❤
